The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford [which consists of Richland Operations Office (RL), and Office of River Protection (ORP)] in support of the Govt's operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington. ProSidian Consulting's work includes supporting DOE requirements for consulting support, acquisition support, program/project management support, operational/administrative business support, and environmental consulting support. It is also ProSidian's duty to protect all classified information, special nuclear material, and other DOE property and work in accordance with DOE security regulations and requirements to maintain responsibility for protecting all classified information and all classified matter (including documents, material and special nuclear material) which are in every Engagement Team Member's possession and in connection with the performance of work under this contract against sabotage, espionage, loss or theft. HNRTC Support Candidates shall work to support requirements as a Hanford Natural Resource Trustee Council (HNRTC) NRDA Research Analyst and provide NRDA Research Analyst Services to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) - Hanford Natural Resource Trustee Council (HNRTC) The HNRATC NRDA Research Analyst shall assist the work scope of Director of NRDA Analysis and the Senior NRDA Research Analysis including: Assist with Council and TWG activities. Attend Council and TWG meetings. Provide support and advice on review/interpretation of Hanford site environmental data. Assist the HNRTC in identifying and evaluating potential restoration projects and in evaluating debits and credits for injuries and restoration projects; Assist with reviews of NRDA cases and restoration projects at other large federal and non-federal sites. Assist with reviews and status updates of the Hanford NRDA. Provide reviews or literature and/or data for topics of concern. Assist in completion of the NRDA process. Examples of subject matter expertise includes: toxicology, ecotoxicology, hydrology, aquatic ecology, restoration diagnostics, data management, restoration biometrics, statistics, modeling [including the procedures for assessments specified in the CERCLA NRDA regulations 43 CFR 11.33 (15 CFR 990.27(b)(iii) and other models used to predict the fate and effects of contaminants, injuries to natural resources, recovery of natural resources and economic damages], shrub steppe restoration, environmental economics, NRDA, site investigation, risk assessment, injury assessment, restoration planning, implementation and monitoring; Map habitats and biota habitat use. Qualifications The Hanford Natural Resource Trustee Council (HNRTC) NRDA Research Analyst shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: HNRATC NRDA Research Analyst personnel shall possess the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study. 5 years of relevant experience, including: - Project management experience. - Research and data analysis supporting development of NRDA claims. - Evaluating and scaling restoration projects to compensate for NRDA injuries; - Data management, quality assurance and quality control processes; - Determining data gaps for determining NRDA injuries and damages. - Supporting the development of strategies, study prioritization, and study implementation for NRDA assessments. Excellent communication and organizational skills. U.S. Citizenship. TRAVEL: Travel as coordinated with the Technical Point of Contact and Contracting Officer is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations, on an as needed basis. It should be emphasized that participation in regular meetings should typically be by phone to save on time and the direct costs of travel - unless directed by the DOE. Monthly travel may be necessary to participate in HNRTC, Technical Work Group and other project meetings. LOCATION: Work will be conducted at DOE offices or other locations in Richland, WA, at trust organization locations (e.g., Olympia, Portland, Spokane, Lewiston), at the contractor's office, or other location to be specified by DOE or the Council. The Program is specifically designed for physician assistants and nurse practitioners who are interested in a life-long career in emergency medicine with training sites in the Puget Sound through Tacoma Emergency Care Physicians (TECP), a subsidiary of WECP. Program Objectives To provide exceptional training and experience for APP professionals to have a successful career in any emergency department setting. To prepare candidates well for recognized emergency medicine APP examinations (NCCPA-CAQ for physician assistants, AANPCB Boards for nurse practitioners) Curriculum Fifteen (15) months program duration with over 3000 hours of post graduate training Close to 2400 hours of clinical training Over 300 hours of didactics to include over an introductory bootcamp followed my weekly activities that include conferences, meetings, case presentations, ultrasound training, procedure lab or simulation. Over 400 hours of independent study to include case review & presentation preparation, assigned CME and readings, and scholarly research project. Expected commitment of 50 hours per week of the above activities Phased Training with increasing levels of expected competency and confidence. Key Responsibilities * This position follows a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule with alternating workdays to support continuous 7 day a week lab coverage. * Operate independently within a small, fast-paced factory microbiology laboratory, consistently completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision. * Conduct microbiological testing on finished food products, in-process materials, water samples, environmental swabs, surface swabs, and allergen testing when applicable. Responsibilities include sample collection, preparation, testing, result interpretation, and accurate data entry. * Travel daily to Othello and Moses Lake factory locations using a company-provided vehicle to collect samples of finished products, in-process materials, and environmental swabs. * Perform core laboratory duties such as media preparation, biohazard waste containment and disposal, scheduled cleaning, and basic equipment maintenance. * Communicate effectively with Microbiology Lead, Global Food Corporate Microbiology, Quality Assurance, and factory personnel to ensure alignment and clarity. * Maintain and report real-time test results and records in accordance with Global Food Laboratory corporate standards, including timely data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (MMS). * Responsible for gaining proficiency in the Enviromap environmental monitoring system across all three factory sites, including a thorough understanding of designated sampling locations at each facility. * Adhere strictly to all corporate procedures and protocols established by the Global Food Laboratory. * Participate in accredited laboratory proficiency testing programs and maintain satisfactory z-scores to uphold testing accuracy and reliability. * Comply with all corporate Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) required for Biosafety Level II laboratory operations. * Execute routine lab functions including inventory management, equipment and supply cleaning, media preparation, and biohazard waste handling. * Demonstrate foundational knowledge of food microbiology principles and practices. * Support Microbiology Lead in: * Managing inventory of media and chemicals. * Addressing internal customer inquiries related to sampling schedules, test results, corrective actions, and product release decisions. * Perform additional duties as assigned to support laboratory operations and team objectives. The technician will play a vital role in supporting microbiological testing across three factory locations: Moses Lake, Othello, and Columbia Basin. **Key Responsibilities** + This position follows a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule with alternating workdays to support continuous 7 day a week lab coverage. + Operate independently within a small, fast-paced factory microbiology laboratory, consistently completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision. + Conduct microbiological testing on finished food products, in-process materials, water samples, environmental swabs, surface swabs, and allergen testing when applicable.
