Maintain seagrass data consistent with SIMM QAQC protocols.
Use GIS and statistical software analyze data collected by the SIMM Program.

Assist with procurement and oversight of SIMM contracts, including scope of work development, deliverable review, and contractor coordination.
Assist with equipment and laboratory maintenance and follow safety protocols for field and laboratory activities.

Responsibilities:
•Process incoming samples
•Accurately record detailed data
•Perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks of the lab
•Perform facility and field sampling of product & water
•Use of lab equipment (e.g. scales, autoclaves)
•Clean glassware, laboratory areas, and utensils
•Media preparation
•Perform pipetting and serial dilutions
•Retrieve samples from various locations, as needed
•All other duties assigned by management
•Laboratory skills, including aseptic technique a plus, but not required
