Job Description:
To support the research and development of next generation fuel cell technologies, our client is currently seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill a position as a Fuel Cell Research Scientist.
This position is currently in one year renewal basis with anticipation of 3+ years of research opportunity.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate should have direct knowledge and experience in synthesizing electrocatalysts and fabricating MEAs/CCMs for fuel cells or PEM water electrolyzer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Design and synthesize nano-sized PGM ORR catalysts for low-temperature fuel cells.
Conduct half-cell measurements using Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE) and full-cell testing using Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEAs)
Perform Accelerated Stress Tests (AST) to evaluate durability, including catalyst dissolution and carbon support corrosion
Support related projects, involving water electrolysis projects, as needed.
Prepare and evaluate technical plans, reports, presentations, and proposals to support project success

Qualifications:
Ph.D. or equivalent in in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 4 years or more of related experience
Solid knowledge on electrocatalyst synthesis, MEA fabrication and testing for fuel cells and/or water electrolyzer
Hands-on experience on synthesis and characterization of non-PGM catalysts and/or OER catalysts is preferred

Provide study-related clinical consultations and participant education, as required by protocol.
Participate in clinical decision-making related to protocol deviations, safety concerns, and study-related medical issues, in collaboration with the PI and sponsor.
Ensure all clinical activities are conducted in strict accordance with study protocols, GCP, and applicable regulatory and institutional requirements.
Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation, including source documentation, adverse event reporting, and case report form (CRF) review.
Review and document study data to support monitoring visits, audits, and regulatory inspections.
Collaborate with study monitors, sponsors, and internal teams to address clinical queries and ensure data integrity.
Work closely with the site team to support study execution, including clinical input for screening, enrollment, and follow-up activities.
Serve as a clinical liaison between research participants, investigators, sponsors, and healthcare providers to support participant safety and study quality.

Qualifications
Required:
Current license to practice as an NP/PA in the state of MI
No prior sanctions by a state licensing agency; not disqualified from or restricted in the participation of clinical research by FDA
At least 3 years of experience as a provider within the healthcare industry in the US, such as a clinic, hospital, ER or other medical office setting
Past or current experience as a Sub-Investigator in commercial clinical trials
Proficiency in procedures like EKG, phlebotomy, and injections/IVs
Experience with ordering labs and lab processing
Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
Certified in BLS and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
2-3 years of experience conducting clinical trials (federal or commercial, experience in both is a bonus)
Compliant with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs)

USGS-Great Lakes Science Center Ann Arbor, MI Description The fish telemetry and behavior lab at the United States Geological Survey-Great Lakes Science Center (USGS-GLSC) in Ann Arbor, MI, is hiring up to two student contractor positions for the 2026-27 field seasons. Applicants will perform field and laboratory duties associated with fish movement and behavior studies in Lakes Michigan, Huron, Erie and their connecting waters. Ongoing projects involve documenting behavior of acoustic-tagged Lake Whitefish before and after experimental removal of invasive mussels from known whitefish spawning reefs in Lake Michigan and evaluating spawning activity of hatchery-reared Cisco stocked into Saginaw Bay, Lake Huron.
Incumbents will assist project leaders with (1) deploying and retrieving acoustic receivers; (2) downloading data from acoustic receivers; (3) preparing receivers for redeployment; (4) data entry and QAQC; (5) preparation, deployment, and recovery of fish egg traps; (6) processing of egg trap samples in the laboratory; and (7) other duties as assigned. Opportunities exist to conduct individual research projects and assist with projects of staff and graduate students.
Applicants will be expected to perform tasks in the field, laboratory, and office. Field work will involve working aboard small vessels on lakes and rivers in inclement weather.
Pay: $25-$30/hr (no benefits)
Qualifications
Applicants should have a background and interest in aquatic ecology and fisheries science and (1) be enrolled in a relevant program (biology, zoology, ecology, fisheries, natural resource management) at a 4-year college or university OR (2) have graduated from a 4-year college or university within the past 24 months.

Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. May
perform phlebotomy as needed.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs select chemical, cytologic, hematologic, histologic, immunologic, microscopic,
morphologic, microbiologic, and/or specimen collection and preparation procedures on
blood and/or other bodily fluids or specimens, according to defined protocols, involving
manual techniques or the use of a variety of laboratory instruments, including
information systems.
2. Applies knowledge, training and clinical experience to operate instruments and assess
performance according to defined protocols and quality control checks. Prior to release
of analytic data, recognizes and refers implausible results, equipment malfunctions, or
special/unusual circumstances to laboratory technologist, leader, or supervisor.
3. Within established parameters, standardizes, calibrates, performs preventive
maintenance, quality control, and limited troubleshooting on laboratory equipment,
instruments, or information systems. Following successful completion of competency
testing, may perform processing, testing, and reporting without direct supervision.
4. Complies with established departmental and institutional policies and procedures,
including compliance, quality assessment and improvement, safety, environmental, and
infection control. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
5. Participates in various quality assessment and improvement and regulatory agency
activities in the department, including proficiency testing, gathering data for quality
assurance monitors, developing and adhering to safe work practices, participating in
quality improvement committees, and successfully completes regular competency
assessments.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology, or
Laboratory Science Required. Alternatively, meeting the educational requirements of #3
below.
2. MLT certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA) desired or
completion of a military 50-60 week technician program and meets the minimum CLIA
requirements. Alternatively, meeting the requirements of #3 below.
3. Successful completion an Associates or Bachelor's degree that includes at least (5)
college courses from among the following: Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry (inorganic or
organic), Physics, Nursing, Statistics, Physiology, Veterinary sciences, Mathematics,
Introduction to Laboratory Sciences, Pathology, Microscopic Anatomy (Histology),
Biochemistry, Hematology, Immunohematology (Blood Banking), Microbiology,
Urinalysis, or Coagulation. Course work outside of the US must be verified by NACES
approved credentialing evaluation service.
NOTE - Employees hired prior to 2005 as a Medical Laboratory
Technician: Qualifications grandfathered as acceptable in lieu of educational
requirement

Qualifications:
We seek candidates with a PhD in Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Candidates must have experimental hands-on skills in lasers, optics design, solid state physics, electron optics or related fields, and must demonstrate exceptional skills in data analysis and communication.
Experienced user of Matlab, familiar with Zemax.
Selected candidates will work on cutting edge technology development for future KLA tools.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.
PhD in Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
