Seeking a Senior Project Manager to support and help lead resource planning and management for engineering resources across the enterprise.

Primary role and responsibilities: Deliver operational and strategic resource management for engineering and technical capability across the Shield AI enterprise Assess hours required for new efforts vs current resources and workload, to provide input on realistic schedule commitments. Coordinate and drive quarterly and annual resource planning efforts Work with PMO team, engineering, and finance to ensure Estimate at Completion (EAC) data is appropriately entered and in a timely fashion Work within Azure DevOps with the team to project resource requirements Prepare clear and concise documentation and presentations for Executive level summaries of resource capacity/constraints Support resource management for all projects Review project assignments with the applicable engineers, to determine if there is any workload imbalance and/or conflicting priorities and adjust as required. Ensure coordination among engineering resources to provide an integrated plan, that maximizes attainment of schedule and weighs applicable priorities. Work closely with PMs and Engineers to provide updated status, “what if” schedule impacts Identify engineering capacity to bids and projects in response to the operational demand Maintain an assessment of SAI current Engineering capability and capacity Maintain a tactical and strategic resource demand picture for the enterprise that is updated on a regular basis Support management mechanisms (including regular review meetings) to address both the strategic and tactical resource management responsibilities As the ideal applicant, you will have: Significant experience within a similar role in an engineering discipline, preferably in a defense environment Demonstrated ability to contribute and work in a cross functional team while ensuring that specific responsibilities are achieved Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enable you to work effectively with others and to be able to influence across all levels of the business Excellent resource management skills
Required qualifications: Project Management experience, including managing schedules, budget, resources. Prior experience in similar resource management role. Significant experience and excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Significant gantt-chart development and management experience Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering team Excellent verbal and written ability You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others Bachelor's degree in STEM field
