Retail coverage merchandisers are responsible for the display of products in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity. As a retail coverage merchandiser, you will often work with the store manager to create a positive feeling for your customer and also work with the store manager on activities in the store. You are responsible for promoting product sales, setting prices for products, restocking products, planning budgets, analyzing the bestselling products and the least selling product, and putting in place necessary strategies to maximize the products. Also, you would be serving as an intermediary between the store manager, analyst, distributor, and supplier.
