Summary

Loads and unloads truck shipments received through Distribution. Follows proper procedure to handle deliveries in order to facilitate entry into Harris inventory system. The Key Account Manager (KAM) enhances company value by retaining and growing UniFirst's uniform rental, direct sale, and other products and services connected to our largest key accounts. The primary goal of this position is to maintain 94% to 100% of their customer base. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll be doing:
Utilize hand/power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices.
Ensure safe operation of machinery, mechanical electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components.
Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, record results in logbooks / computer systems and make necessary chemical adjustments as required
Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs as required.
Record and analyze meter readings of utilities in long and take corrective actions when necessary.
Perform daily and weekly location/system safety checks and follow up to address concerns.
Inspect motor, belts, fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions in accordance with maintenance procedures.
Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings gears and other equipment parts in accordance with work procedures and technical manual.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment.
Minimum of 6 months' work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment is required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment test to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English is required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills is required.
Lockout / Tagout experience is required
Ability to work overtime as needed is required.

We are looking for a Regional Environmental Health and Safety Manager to support the Avery Dennison Flooring Adhesive Division including sites in Dalton, GA, Alvarado, TX, and Fontana, CA. In this role, you will participate on our leadership team and report to the Regional Plant Manager and Director of Employee Health and Safety.
What you will be doing:
Fully Integrate the Flooring Adhesive Division sites into the Avery Dennison EHS Management System,
Organizing and controlling the EHS functions of the five facilities (GA - 3, TX - 1, CA - 1) to ensure that an effective accident prevention and regulatory compliance program is maintained.
Responsible for overall implementation of EHS with respect to federal, state and local requirements including company specific policies and programs.
Integration of Company and facility level EHS management systems to maintain compliance, environmental protection and safe operating conditions.
Tracking and regularly reporting the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives.
Maintaining OSHA 300 log, form 301, and all other governmental and corporate database records.
Organizing and controlling an effective accident prevention program.
Investigate all releases, injuries and near-misses to identify root cause and implement corrective actions.
Act as the main point of contact regarding OSHA process safety management to ensure overall compliance and coordination of resources related to flammable liquids safety.
Coordinating the Job Safety Analysis program and OSHA PPE compliance program and maintaining the SDS system.

Our Macon, Georgia farm is the most advanced greenhouse in the state, delivering fresh, locally grown leafy greens to Georgians. Spanning nearly 480,000 square feet, this facility will produce approximately 6 million pounds of leafy greens annually.
Specifically, you will:
Research, work with, and support the Head Grower and Greenhouse Leadership Team to daily ensure that all the crop needs are met to ensure the highest quality and yield
Master climate control through Priva Office climate control systems
Constant care for and monitor greenhouse climate and environmental parameters for optimum crop quality, climate, and placement
Monitor/control computerized greenhouse environments
Share “on-call” alarm duties with Grower
Be responsible for controlling all parameters related to the maintenance of healthy and productive production ponds - fertility and pH management, thermal management, pond aeration, pond sanitation, and pond mechanicals
Be responsible for all aspects of growing, including watering, fertilizing, spraying, and testing:
Perform/track soil, water, disease tests as needed
Assist in the development and implementation of specific fertilization programs to identify crop problems and determine a solution
Develop and maintain of standard operating procedures and quality standards for consistently growing crops
Conduct trials/experiments to evaluate new crops and improvements to existing crops to implement and track R&D projects to increase and optimize yields of existing products, and to develop new products for the BrightFarms sales portfolio
Integrated Pest Management (IPM): work closely with the Head Grower to develop, implement, and maintain a biologically based Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program to identify, track, and control pest populations
Assist in greenhouse specific IPM strategies
Be an integral part of BrightFarms' Agriculture staff and attend weekly company-wide grower meetings
As an integral part of the Greenhouse Leadership Team:
Lead and supervise greenhouse associates
Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly greenhouse facility
Ensure food safety compliance
Utilize Overtime hours as necessary to finish daily tasks
The ideal candidate:
BS or AS in Horticulture/Floriculture/Biology or related field or currently working towards degree
Exhibit excellent leadership skills: Lead by example - set the highest possible standards for quality, efficiency, productivity, and behavior
Detail oriented and data driven
Display excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate basic computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (Power Point and Access Database knowledge beneficial)
Obtain a state pesticide applicators license
