We are looking for a skilled Procedure Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing, implementing, and monitoring operational procedures across various banking functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the banking industry while fostering improvements in workflow and risk management. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational procedures for banking functions such as wires, reconciliation, and deposit operations. - Provide training to business owners on proper procedure writing, including one-on-one sessions and office hours. - Conduct assessments to identify training needs and collaborate with department leaders to address gaps. - Ensure all procedures comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. - Work closely with subject matter experts to validate the accuracy and effectiveness of documentation. - Analyze workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction. - Assist in documenting procedures for new tools or systems during implementation phases. - Maintain accurate tracking systems for operating and desktop procedures. - Participate in audits and reviews to ensure compliance with banking regulations. - Support risk mitigation efforts by escalating cases or inquiries when necessary. Requirements - Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or banking operations. - High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. - Solid understanding of banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, and treasury management. - Knowledge of regulatory and compliance obligations, such as Regulation E, and industry standards. - Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and research. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with banking applications and systems. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
