Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work and enter into estimating system Work with estimating team and/or Project Managers as needed to develop scope of work and estimated hours Review quotes for completeness with plans, specifications and co-ordinate with clients as needed Itemize and quantify all incidentals necessary in preparing the bid packages including sub-contract work, equipment rental, tools and supplies Provide to the Chief Estimator a detailed review of scope, technical requirements, and pricing for the estimated bid package. Hand-off bid to Project Management to fully explain the estimate, scope of work, quotes and offer aspects. Responsible for the timely completion of all client-required documents. Draft scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures What will help you be successful: Bachelor's degree in a related field 3+ years of related experience Ability to provide clear verbal communication, ability to provide and receive feedback effectively Familiarity with Civil and Land Surveying Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Suite, PDF editing software, etc.) Ability to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced and professional environment. Respond to psych-social support needs of the participant and/or the participant's family. Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work and enter into estimating system Work with estimating team and/or Project Managers as needed to develop scope of work and estimated hours Review quotes for completeness with plans, specifications and co-ordinate with clients as needed Itemize and quantify all incidentals necessary in preparing the bid packages including sub-contract work, equipment rental, tools and supplies Provide to the Chief Estimator a detailed review of scope, technical requirements, and pricing for the estimated bid package. Hand-off bid to Project Management to fully explain the estimate, scope of work, quotes and offer aspects. Responsible for the timely completion of all client-required documents. Draft scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures What will help you be successful: Bachelor's degree in a related field 3+ years of related experience Ability to provide clear verbal communication, ability to provide and receive feedback effectively Familiarity with Civil and Land Surveying Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Suite, PDF editing software, etc.) Ability to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced and professional environment.
