The Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research (CBAR), an organization within the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, is responsible for the design, monitoring and statistical analysis of clinical trials and observational studies for several major national and international NIH-funded clinical research networks. CBAR employs over 100 statisticians and epidemiologists including Harvard faculty, research scientists, and staff. Investigators within CBAR have provided statistical leadership and support for clinical research networks for more than 30 years. Currently this includes infectious disease networks such as: the Adult AIDS Clinical Trials Groups (ACTG), the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials Group (IMPAACT), and the Pediatric HIV/AIDS Cohort Study (PHACS). Results from studies have helped to establish the paradigm for the treatment and prevention of HIV and other infectious diseases, and contributed to international treatment and prevention guidelines.

DRT is looking for you, our next SAS Developer to work directly with public health GIS analysts, coordinators, epidemiologists, and other technologists to design, develop, deploy, and maintain IT solutions using SAS. You will get to support new and existing SAS reports and data interfaces. Following an Agile DevOps methodology, you will also build and test systems on our exciting program that provides GIS solutions to address diverse, complex, and emerging problems within the public health domains of environmental health, infectious disease, chronic disease, and emergency preparedness/response. Our support includes the design, development, and enhancements of internal and external applications, websites, and database solutions with geospatial components. Our team develops innovative data capture and analysis techniques in the field to enhance emergency response efforts all around the world.

- Design, configure, customize, and deploy new features into existing solutions; build features from customer requirements, manage data flows, and perform\ routine maintenance, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Develop and manage a schedule to meet deliverables and establish estimated completion dates

- Three or more years of experience using SAS
- Knowledge of SAS best practices and performance tuning
- Strong SQL experience
