SPA has an immediate need for a System Cyber Security Engineer to support Cybersecurity systems and deliverables for the Aerial Networks Division at Hanscom Air Force Base.

The Systems Cyber Security Specialist will ensure that all assigned system and application deliverables meet the requirements of all DoD and Air Force Cyber Security policies. Ensure that system deliverables comply with DoD and Air Force Cyber Security policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01, Cyber Security, and AFI 33-200, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management. Ensure that cybersecurity policies are implemented correctly, including compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, and AFI 33-210, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology. Support activities and meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling, in order to achieve standardized, PKI- supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication. Direct Risk Assessments to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of all Air Force system security incidents, threats and exploits. Initiate and manage RMF packages in accordance with NIST 800-53 requirements. Create and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments Reports (RARs), and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) for classified systems. Establish and administer appropriate security systems, policies, standards and procedures in compliance with applicable government and lead directives and guidelines. Develop, review, and approve plans, schedules, and other technical documentation. Facilitate and support Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities. Configure and validate information system compliance using DISA STIGs, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC) and STIG Viewer. Assess security control assessment guidance, procedures, and templates, ensuring correct and uniform implementation of the RMF based assessment processes. Ensure system security assessments and audits are completed and documented.
Required Qualifications:

+ MS or BS in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar with 12-20 years of experience in Cybersecurity

+ Limited domestic travel may be required

+ Comp TIA Security+ and CISSP certifications are both required

+ Active Top Secret clearance

+ Use your skills to install, start-up and commission electronic security systems at various customer sites

+ Work with other project team members during the design phase of the project to provide feedback relative to site specific and customer issues
