Job Description

What You'll Do

Responsible for securing non accepting merchants, closing complaints, and improving the cardholder experience with merchants in assigned market or portfolio. Prioritizes key issuer needs with merchants in market. Works collaboratively with Global Marketing and Global Acceptance to gain acceptance, especially for larger merchants or key verticals, and/or works to train down stream acquiring and intermediary payment partners. Sources and capitalizes on opportunities to grow merchant stated acceptance and/or network transaction volume. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You'll Do It

* Secures non-accepting merchants and closes merchant complaints in assigned market or portfolio.

* Conducts standard training with acquirer's sales staff, merchants, and issuers in market to promote acceptance and drive volume.

* Improves merchant stated acceptance and merchant activations.

* May develop and maintain relationships with associations, malls and hotels to ensure successful promotion of offers programs. Ensures relevant offers are sourced in a timely manner.

About This Role

We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for:

A Sr. Field Service Representative performs the actual hands on repair or modification of Sea Systems crafts as directed, and supervises those personnel assigned to assist with these actions.

Responsibilities :
  • Perform repairs, modifications or builds crafts at customer location
  • Mechanical system troubleshooting & repair capability
  • Electrical/C4N troubleshooting & repairs capability
  • Flight Operations/Deck Hand support
  • Aluminum, stainless steel, & inconel welding capability
  • Preventive Maintenance capability
  • Requires CONUS travel to correct problems or provide support to customer's crafts.
  • Interfaces with Customers on reported problems and provides technical information and status updates on a regular basis.
  • Generates and maintains data base for Electronic Customer Service Request (ECRS) forms to track daily efforts during on and offsite operations.
  • Researches data for service bulletins and assists in writing.
  • Initiates RTGM's and PR's to support material requirements.
  • Prepares modification kit paperwork.
  • Maintains tracking reports for warranty and modification kit control (Computerized Tracking System).
  • Reviews trial cards and identifies open work or potential work items which are candidate for modification kits.
  • Reviews approved ECR's, DCR's, CICR's, EO's and drawings to determine modification kit requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

Education:
  • Associate degree in electrical/electronics disciplines preferred but not required
  • Military related technical education.
Position Requirements:
  • Technical training with 4+ years of experience
  • Four years of proven Electrical experience in Fabrication and Troubleshooting and/or six years experience as an electrician or technician on U.S. military aircraft or ships.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair these systems in a production line or field operations environment.
  • Ability to effectively interface with peers, management and customers across and within the organization.
  • Must travel and work extended hours to support customer requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Ability to use and interpret diagnostic equipment used during the course of daily activities.
  • Must be proficient in MS software specifically, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
  • This position will require permanent relocation to the customer location. Must be willing to relocate.

Essential Functions:

* Continuously improve personal, technical, and professional business skills that enable incumbents to service products for customer satisfaction-and being current with product technology that enhances your ability to troubleshoot and repair various products and instruct others.
* Provide timely, detailed, and accurate reports on service work performed, product performance, and warranty liabilities to company expense and time allocation.

* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, authorized service shops, other service organizations, and product business units to assure customer satisfaction. Incumbent demonstrates an awareness of customer needs, preferences, and time and financial constraints.
* Proven customer service and sales ability. Ability to handle irate or difficult customers and gain satisfaction.
* Demonstrate safety consciousness in equipment handling, electrical and electronic procedures, and the unique situations encountered at diverse work sites.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

* High school diploma plus a minimum of 3 years field experience servicing electrical distribution control systems; OR relevant Military experience OR Associate degree from an accredited institution.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
* No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pleasanton, CA will be considered. Active Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
