Aviation Baggage Systems Controls Integration Lead
CLX Engineering
Senior systems engineer job in Sanford, FL
Job Description Lead the Invisible Engine of Air Travel
At CLX Engineering, our automation quietly keeps airports moving. As an Aviation Baggage Systems Controls Integration Lead, you own the end-to-end technical heartbeat of complex systems so travelers never notice a thing-and that's exactly the goal.
A Day in the Life
You arrive at an active concourse before first light. Overnight, your PLC update improved a merge. You walk the conveyor line, verify I/O, check VFD trends, and align with operations on the commissioning plan. By mid-morning, you're leading vendors through SAT steps, collaborating with a teammate on Ignition visualization tweaks, and fielding a client question about TSA testing. When a sensor fault pops during a load test, you isolate an EtherNet/IP node, adjust Studio 5000 logic, and keep the line humming.
