The Data Center & Energy team is seeking a motivated design engineer to provide support to our Cloud Power BU located at ADI's Austin, TX, USA. As an individual contributor, the candidate will be working closely with a group of about 15 engineers. The project provides unique learning opportunities related to advanced mixed signal design verification techniques.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Verification of mixed signal designs and sub-systems using leading edge verification methodologies.
* Contribute and influence the decisions on methodologies to be adopted for the verification.
* Architect the testbench and develop in UVM or Formal based verification approaches. Integrate the block testbench in chip-level UVM environment and verify integration.
* Define testplans, tests and verification methodology for block / chip-level verification. Work with the design team in generating test-plans and closure of code and functional coverage.

Minimum qualifications

Education and Experience
Knowledge of AS/400 system administration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of AS400 High Availability setup, configuration and administration of MIMIX, iTerra, etc
Experience with PowerVM and VIOS a plus for future designs
Experience with PowerVC as well as Live partition mobility a plus
Proficient in LPAR design, build and validation (Logical Partitioning) a plus
Proficient in planning and upgrading the IBMi operating system (OS/400) and HMC/Firmware
Proficient in IBM iSeries work management
Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting skills. IBM iSeries TCP/IP configuration and NETSTAT troubleshooting.
Knowledge of IBMi networked systems, access and security guidelines and procedures.
Skill in solving technically challenging problems involving IBMi based critical applications and hardware issues.
Skill in prioritizing and balancing multiple tasks.
