The LCSW functions as a core member of a collaborative care team that involves a psychiatrist, and other behavioral health providers in an outpatient setting. The LCSW is responsible for coordinating and supporting mental health services (including IDD/MH) within the clinic and for coordinating referrals to clinically indicated services outside the clinic.
