Essential Duties:
* Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
* Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
* Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
* Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
* Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
* Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
* Marks materials with identifying information.
* Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
* Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
* Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
* Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
* Uses computer to enter records.
* Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
* Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
* Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
* Prepares parcels for mailing.
* Maintains inventory records.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED preferred; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print simple sentences.
* Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
* Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Your Responsibilities
Looking for a Warehouse Specialist to perform a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse. Bilingual is a plus. Responsible for performing load in/load out activities, material handling, inventory, receiving and shipping activities. Make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.
Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

+ Makes product purchase recommendations to Supervisor/Market Manager to ensure adequate inventory to meet sales and delivery needs. Ensures appropriate receipt and recordkeeping of unit inventory. Performs physical inventory counts.
+ Performs miscellaneous duties such as filing and other clerical tasks, calculating product amounts, calibrating equipment, loading trucks, general equipment and plant maintenance, product storage activities, blending and warehouse work, etc.

**Typical Education**
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
**Skills & Relevant Experience**
+ Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
+ Inventory Management experience highly preferred
+ Knowledge of DOT Compliance practices a plus
+ Prior experience in the agriculture industry preferred
+ Prior warehouse experience a plus
+ Chemical and/or fertilizer knowledge preferred
+ Forklift certification is a plus
+ CDL (Commercial Class A Driver's license) preferred, but not required

+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratios and percentages.
