Primary Position Purpose:
The Sr DevOps Engineer will manage our growing hybrid infrastructure and build tools to increase the productivity of the engineering team. DevOps Engineers at client is part of the CloudOps and Infrastructure team. They are extremely code savvy with hybrid-cloud approach, function using software engineering paradigms, extensively use infrastructure as code, deploy applications at scale on Kubernetes, and work with several AWS and container platforms. They also work closely with backend, frontend, mobile, and data engineering teams.
Position Functions:
· Create custom GitHub Actions for building applications
· Develop script modules to deploy applications to end platform
· Develop a framework to backup/restore from containers and platforms
· Gain knowledge about Kubernetes and develop controllers to auto remediate issues inside a containerized cluster
· Work on IAAC using terraform to create resources using the best practices that enables reporting and monitoring
· Engage in idea/knowledge transfer within team and with the development teams
· Mentor junior developers in all technical aspects such as design and implementation
· Harden the security of the accounts, but at the same time allow the ease of deployment
· Collaborate in-person with all levels of the organization to harness collective intelligence of the workforce
· Attend all in-person meetings and trainings on recent developments, goals, and objectives. Participate in such discussions by offering input and advice
· Regularly engage remotely and in-person with customers and potential customers to establish rapport, open communication, and expectations

General Summary:
