Maintain and monitor confidentiality of offenders and review status of offenders.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED) required.
Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE). Major course work in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Science or a related field preferred. Each year of experience as described below more than the required four (4) may be substituted for thirty (30) semester hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis.
Four (4) years full-time wage-earning experience in substance abuse treatment.
Current licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS), current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Texas Commission of Professional Counselors, or current licensure as a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) by the Texas Board of Psychological Examiners.
Therapeutic community environment experience preferred. Must hold a current CPR certification and maintain a valid license for continued employment.
Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
Must successfully complete a TDCJ approved Correctional Awareness Training (CAT), annual in-service training requirements, and annual background check.

Programming experience in low-level languages, such as C or FORTRAN
Programming experience in statistical packages
Good communication skills, including the ability to write and speak fluently in English
A PhD, or equivalent knowledge and job experience, in biostatistics, statistics, or another science-related field
