The Role
The Ship Test Manager (STM) serves as the E25 Program Manager for Submarine Fleet Support, covering the areas of Test, Work Control, Re-Entry Control (REC) and Ship Safety. The STM represents the Director of TestEngineering, and works with the Functional Area Managers, Supervisors and CTE's to ensure that all E25 contractual requirements are completed safely and accurately, as well as on-time and on-budget. This position requires significant project management experience and the ability to interface with multiple internal and external (government) customers and stakeholders. The nature of the role requires a working level knowledge of E25 products and procedures, including the tools used for management and reporting. The STM position requires extended work hours and on-demand weekend coverage during major key events.
Job specific duties include but are not limited to:
