Position Summary
Our client is currently seeking a skilled Automated QA Tester to support one of the technical projects with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This project represents a multi -year effort for IT Modernization and Transformation requiring tested, secure, and hardened software solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to create automated test scripts to run tests on developed software applications, and review and analyze results for integration, regression, performance, and user testing activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Interacting with the customer and/or project team to gain an understanding of the application requirements and conformance criteria
Developing and executing test plans
Writing and executing test scripts (both manual and automated)
Developing comprehensive automated testing frameworks and solutions
Automate application functionality, integration, and regression tests
Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
Analyzing and testing through all software development life -cycle stages
Supporting an agile incremental delivery approach
Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and results to project stakeholders

Able to perform both Frontend (UI) and Backend (API, database, and server -side) testing
