LOCATION: Gainesville, FL and/or Lake City, FL POSITION STATUS: Full-time, Part-time, PRN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to: Carotid duplex Upper and lower extremity arterial and venous studies (including DVT and insufficiency exams) Ankle-brachial index (ABI) and segmental pressures Abdominal aortic and renal artery duplex Pre- and post-intervention vascular assessments Acquire, analyze, and document all pertinent images and Doppler waveforms according to IAC-accredited protocols and physician expectations. Ensure accurate and complete entry of findings, measurements, and preliminary impressions into PACS and/or the electronic health record (EHR) system. Communicate effectively with patients and their representatives regarding exam preparation, procedure instructions, and follow-up. Assist in the onboarding and training of students and newly hired technologists. Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies and linens; promptly restock and prepare rooms between patients to support efficient workflow and maintain a safe, hygienic environment. Clean and maintain equipment according to established protocols; report any malfunctions or concerns to the Manager promptly. Actively support IAC re-accreditation efforts by ensuring accurate documentation, high-quality image acquisition and timely submission of required case studies and supporting materials. Perform additional duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and skill level of the position. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree or accredited Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with a specialization in vascular technology. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through CCI required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience performing a wide range of vascular studies in a clinical setting is preferred. LOCATION: Gainesville, FL and/or Lake City, FL POSITION STATUS: Full-time, Part-time, PRN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform transthoracic echocardiograms in accordance with standardized imaging guidelines and TCAVI protocols including: 2D and M-mode imaging of all standard cardiac views Spectral and color Doppler assessment of all cardiac valves Evaluation of left and right ventricular size, function, and wall motion Measurement of left atrial volume, inferior vena cava diameter, and pulmonary artery pressures Diastolic function analysis Identify and document abnormal findings, including but not limited to chamber enlargement, valvular disease, pericardial effusion, masses, and wall motion abnormalities, ensuring comprehensive reporting of clinically significant findings. Accurately document all pertinent findings, measurements, and image annotations in the PACS system to support timely interpretation, comprehensive reporting, and compliance with IAC and ASE documentation standards. Communicate effectively with patients and their representatives regarding exam preparation, procedure instructions, and follow-up. Assist in the onboarding and training of students and newly hired technologists. Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies and linens; promptly restock and prepare rooms between patients to support efficient workflow and maintain a safe, hygienic environment. Clean and maintain equipment according to established protocols; report any malfunctions or concerns to the Manager promptly. Actively support IAC re-accreditation efforts by ensuring accurate documentation, high-quality image acquisition and timely submission of required case studies and supporting materials. Perform additional duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and skill level of the position. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or accredited certificate program in Cardiovascular Sonography required. Registered in Cardiac Echocardiography through CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) required Minimum of two (2) years of experience in cardiac ultrasound preferred. Maintain BLS certification KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Proficient in performing cardiac ultrasound studies. Ability to interpret clinical history and symptoms to guide diagnostic imaging appropriately. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines. Effective interpersonal skills to foster collaborative working relationships across departments. Commitment to continued learning and professional development. Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and a proactive approach to responsibilities. WORKING CONDITIONS Environment: Clinical/medical office setting. Exposure to communicable diseases, biohazardous materials, and standard clinical risks. Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion, prolonged standing, and frequent lifting or repositioning of patients. Must be able to perform repetitive arm and hand movements and maintain visual concentration on monitors and documentation systems for extended periods.
