The Sterile Processing Tech Coordinator is responsible for the allocation and completion of assigned functions by staff in the department. This position will serve as a team lead and ensure adequate staff coverage to complete the decontamination and assembly process in order to maintain availability of instruments, scopes and equipment to meet department needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE Coordinates sterilization schedules to meet the daily operating room (OR) needs. Coordinates staff workload to ensure the needs of the next business day instrument list are met and instruments are available for all surgical cases. Assists in training technician staff and the orientation process of new employees. Completes sterilization, assembles and packages specialty instrument trays for procedures to ensure all instruments are clean, decontaminated and stocked to maintain a safe patient environment. Determines and ensures the proper method of cleaning necessary for different types of instruments. Collects, reads and documents biological tests to ensure functionality of sterilizing equipment. The Service Delivery Technician provides direct support to and is a central point of contact for CyrusOne clients. We are currently searching for an experienced, Full-Time Endoscopy Technician, M-F from 645am-3pm who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: Assists physicians with endoscopic procedures, processes scopes, handles and processes patient specimens, assists in maintenance of all supplies. You must possess a HS school diploma/GED and a BLS certification (or obtain within the first 6 months of employment). Previous experience in GI setting strongly preferred.
