WHAT YOU'LL DO Accurately inspects, prepares and packages all instrumentation and equipment for sterilization. Decontaminates all instrumentation and equipment effectively ensuring adherence to quality standards. Stocks case carts to ensure all items are accounted for and available for processing and/or other departments as assigned. Processes and completes associated case cart documentation. Sterilizes all equipment ensuring the appropriate sterilization method is used and respective SOP followed. Operates Steam and EO sterilizers and accurately completes associated documentation. Participate in department continuous improvement initiatives, as assigned by management. Medical Equipment Technician Medical Equipment Technicians are responsible for ensuring safe delivery, providing setup, and education in usage of home medical equipment for our customers. Setup is done in their home, long-term care setting, clinic or any location deemed necessary to service patients.
