Duties & Responsibilities: Follows, uses, implements and strives for deeper understanding of WSR 11 Rules of The Road. Perform and complete quality daily pre-operational (pre-op) checks before each start of the shift. Submit to Steel Yard Supervisor as directed. Knowledgeable and safe operation of assigned equipment to transfer materials during unloading, loading, processing, and transfer to storage. Loading or unloading materials from or to designated vehicles including open top trailers, railcars and roll offs. Report any injury or damage of any kind immediately. Highly knowledgeable of material industry standards and grades. Prepare material for weighing and the recording of weight and other necessary product information on labels or tags or other document. Accurate, legible, and timely completion of unload paperwork (Outbound Loading Sheet or Unload Sheets), and/or reports. Secure all loading or unloading photos as required.
