When handling boxes of finished product the team member will remove boxes from a pallet and place it on other pallets to build a full pallet. Pallet height could vary from 8 inches to 7 feet tall. Requirements: Grasping: There is a bilateral full-hand grip required to up stack/ down stack boxes of finished product onto pallets and the lifting of wooden pallets. A full hand grip of the dominant hand is required to operate the Forklift. Standing: The team member stands on the platform of the truck that is covered with a non-slip coating. When the team member is not operating the Forklift, he stands and walks on a cement floor. Lifting: The team member is required to lift wooden pallets and finished boxed product which weigh between 5 and 80 pounds. Bending: The team member is occasionally required to bend at the waist while retrieving wooden pallets and or up stacking/ down stacking finished boxed product. Force: Moderate force is required when performing this job. Work Duty: Heavy lifting and simultaneous use of both hands is required when performing this job.
