The Filler Operator is an important part of our production floor. The Operator runs and maintains fillers in a continuous flow vat to process milk, cream, and other dairy products, following specific methods and formulas. As a Filler Operator, you will be responsible for the quality, food safety, and product specifications. Responsibilities: Clean, set up, operate, and monitor filler equipment. Complete all required quality checks and documentation. Collect the required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing. Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of the product. Make adjustments to filler timing and filling; check vat as needed. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties. Perform filler equipment and filler line changeovers for the next run safely. Working knowledge with wrapper operations; watch for jams and effectively thread product wrap. Job Summary: The Truck Unloader moves route vehicles to the loading dock, unloads soiled linen, moves vehicle back, hangs bags of soiled linen onto rail/conveyor system, sorts linens into different bins and transfers them to other departments or areas of facility. Performs other tasks as needed. Essential Functions: - Safely move vehicles to loading area, unload, and move vehicle back. - Sort and transfer product to different areas of facility. - Hang bags of soiled linen onto rail/conveyor system. - Assist sort/count workstations as needed. - Meet efficiency and safety standards for the position. - Follow instructions as directed by supervision. Typical Physical Activity: - Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, constantly lifting up to 100 lbs., hearing, seeing and stooping. - Physical Requirements consist of being able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift. Typical Environmental Conditions: - Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, which includes variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint and dust. Most work is performed outside at the loading dock. Soiled linens come from a variety of customers such as restaurants, hotels, medical facilities and shops. Travel Requirements: - none. Loader - Off Loader This positions main responsibilities will be taking care of incoming and outgoing containers. Ensuring that they are loaded and off loaded in a timely manner. Prepares palletized loads for shipment by counting, sorting, staging on pallets and shrink-wrapping product to ensure safe transportation. Responsibilities: Ensure safe and proper balancing of product for shipment or store. Stage pallets, shrink wrap to prevent loss and load pallets onto truck manually or with pallet jack. Ensure correct parts are placed in correct truck. Packs correct items for delivery with accuracy and speed. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: Reliable, punctual, and dependable (must be able to work entire shift) Able to speak clearly and listen attentively Ability to recognize and distinguish letter and numbers. Must be able to push/pull/lift/ 55lbs on a continuously thought entire shift. Able to bend, reach, stand items in container and shelfs (nine feet) with use of proper equipment or ladder when necessary. Able to stand and walk entire work shift. Ability to work 8 am to 5 pm or 9 to 6 pm based on shift given by upper management. Ability to work weekends and holidays when needed. 40 hours per week - little OT
