Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee. Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers for the purpose of transporting a wide variety of cargo, moving cargo, driving a forklift, or using a pallet jack or other freight for transit. Effectively and efficiently operating mobile technology and completing all required paperwork. Responsibilities * Effectively operate mobile technology. * Load and unload trailers for the purpose of transporting a wide variety of cargo. * Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location. * Equipment - Preventive Maintenance Program for all ABF equipment. * Move cargo, drive a forklift or use a pallet jack or other freight handling equipment. * Prepare wide varieties of freight for transit. * Complete all required paperwork.
