This position will be responsible for running production equipment/machines as needed. The Material Handler position has been designated a safety sensitive position based on federal OSHA standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Shipping/Receiving including unloading/loading of trucks Product staging for upcoming shipments Coordinate with supervisor to determine what is shipping and what needs moved from production to the yard Ensure proper handling of all materials and store appropriately Support material movements for production as needed Ensuring all paperwork for transportation companies and internal administration is given to the logistics coordinator (BOL, Invoices, Certs etc.) Offloading steel deliveries Maintain neat and clean yard at all times Perform survey and analyze results to implement all safe work procedures Forklift Pre-trip compliance check off Willingness to provide assistance when needed in other departments as designated by supervisor Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to communicate in English Ability to demonstrate basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and to use all safety features and equipment

Responsibilities and Essential Functions: * Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. * Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. * Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. * Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. * Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines. Qualifications and Experience: * 1 year of related experience * Forklift experience preferred * Work in an outdoor warehouse environment * High-School Diploma or equivalent required. 3:30 pm- last truck loaded.
