SUMMARY:
Responsible for preparing and storing materials for production. Processes, checks, verifies, and inventories materials received and released to Production. We have an opportunity for a Logistics Material Handler to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will assist in the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products. You will assist in the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products. You will provide support for the production team by moving materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
You will:
* Be responsible for correctly, documenting and handling of parts.
* Need to be flexible to rotate on the line.
* Be familiar with packing small components and packaging operations.
* Provide general labor incidental to manufacturing operations.
* Need to be capable of performing a variety of production operations incidental to the manufacturing of various items or devices produced in the department
* Need to be able to use fine hand manipulation.
* Must be able to read, write and understand written, visual and oral instructions.
* Able to use a variety of hand tools in department, including but not limited to, air guns, screwdrivers, wrenches, and other power/hand tools.
Key Qualifications:
* High school degree or equivalent preferred.
* Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
* Previous experience in production and/or assembly position.
* Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights.
* Lifting requirements is 30-50 pounds, continually throughout the day.
* Steel-toed footwear is required.
Compensation:
The hourly pay for this role is: $20.00/hour, DOE. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

This person will also operate a chainsaw to cut material as needed. Inspects and maintains forklift and chainsaw equipment as needed. $18.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE.
Qualifications
Essential Duties for Forklift Operator - EWP
Reads hand written or system generated sales order to determine product
Notes all special instructions for filling an order
Operates chainsaw and other saw equipment
Operates forklift safely at all times following all safety rules and regulations
Performs daily inspections of forklift(s) as required by OSHA and Capital Lumber Company standards
Notifies Supervisory of any necessary equipment maintenance/repair or safety concerns
Bands lumber product for storage or shipping
Assists in moving of inventory for storage within the yard area as directed
Properly stores inventory-level and covered as necessary
Assists in inventory and/or cycle counts as directed
Assist in keeping all lanes and areas clean and clear for traffic
Perform other work related duties as assigned by your supervisor and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
1 to 4 years previous experience with forklifts and other machinery
Has Forklift Certification
Good knowledge of lumber products

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to the extent required to receive and communicate information as necessary to the position
Abilities:

Position Overview:
As a Forklift Operator at Local Bounti, you will ensure timely, safe, and efficient receiving, storing, or moving of material in the warehouse, loading dock, yard, or storage area while upholding our commitment to sustainability and food safety. You will also transport materials to, from, or between manufacturing production lines. Load Security: Ensures that shipments are properly packaged, identified with all the required shipping information, and loaded into transportation vehicles.
Dry Goods Inventory: Checks inventory of goods and materials as needed making sure that all departments have the required supplies.
Receiving: Receives deliveries of goods and materials ensuring they are in good shape and documents using the Incoming Inspection Checklist form.
Incident Reporting: Promptly notifies designated company personnel via cell phone whenever delivery delays, accidents, and vehicle malfunctions occur.
Documentation Accuracy: Completes all delivery documentation accurately.
Pallet Exchanges: Obtains exchange pallets for all pallets (other than blue CHEP pallets) that are delivered to customers; accurately records on the delivery documentation the number of pallets delivered to, and the number of exchange pallets received from, each customer.
