GENERAL PURPOSE:

Responsible for the daily receiving, stocking, and pulling of product for customer orders all in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Daily loads or unloads of delivery trucks.
* Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming product to verify receipt of items.
* Stores products in bins, racks, on floor, or on shelves according to identifying information such as style, size, brand, or type of material.
* Understands and utilizes company specific computer systems and software to direct and control workflow.
* Reads and efficiently works the customers pick sheets to accurately determine items to be gathered, palletized, and distributed.
* Ability to obtain and maintain case picks per hour and accuracy goals as assigned.
* Examines stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and takes pride in products being distributed.
* Keeps all locations neat, organized, and straightened, while maintaining the rotation of product to ensure freshness.
* Fills orders or issues supply from stock with care, concern, and diligence.
* Assembles customer orders from stock and builds orders on pallets, effectively and safely for successful delivery.
* Accurately documents the number of products or items received, distributed, or set aside due to damage or "out-of-date."
* Helps to clean up all warehouse areas worked during shift by sweeping, discarding trash, and empty boxes prior to end of shift.
* Participates in weekly, monthly, or annual inventory cycles to count appropriate SKUs.
* Participates and receives training certificate for proper and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.
Job Requirements
* High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must be 21 years of age.
* Prefer working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, pallet building, and inventory procedures.
* Must have or acquire forklift certification.
* Excellent communication, both written and verbal.

Purpose of Job:
Ability to accurately and efficiently complete assigned distribution center tasks using a variety of equipment including RF barcode scanning devices, material handling equipment - electric and manual pallet jacks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, WMS applications, and other shipping applications.

Job Description
As a Warehouse Associate, you are responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at our local warehouse. You will handle and receive inventory from freight forwarders. Works closely with the Warehouse & Distribution Manager to keep the warehouse clean and organized.

Receives all deliveries from FedEx, UPS, Kamaka Air, etc. and coordinates deliveries/pick-up of these items.

Verifies all items received against bills of lading, invoices, orders, receivers, etc.
Actively participates in the physical inventory of the warehouse as necessary.
Rotates stock according to FIFO to ensure quality control.
Maintains par levels of warehouse issue items and places order to replenish items as needed.
Prepares daily shipment for FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.
Ensures that all deliveries have been pulled accurately, are tagged properly, are taken out of inventory (if necessary), and are clearly marked for their final destination.
Performs other duties as assigned.
