The Family Services Specialist III, Prevention position, is a professional position supervised by a Family Services Supervisor with Shenandoah Valley Social Services. This position performs tasks in the provision of social services working in the Prevention Unit with children and families who have been identified through a CPS Investigation or Family Assessment as having High or Very High Risk for future Abuse/Neglect or who have been identified as having risk or potential risk of entering foster care. The employee will engage with families to maintain the child safely in their homes or with relative/kin caregivers in their own communities and work with multiple programs within the agency and with community partners to ensure the safety, well-being, and permanency of the child and will ensure services are provided to meet the needs of the family by accessing appropriate funding sources as needed.
General tasks include but not limited to:
Conducting home visits, continually assessing safety risk factors and service needs using multiple tools.
Coordinating and participating in Family Partnership Meetings, Child and Family Meetings, and other services related to meetings.

The Gift/Merchandise Sales Associate enhances the Buc-ee's experience by receiving, stocking, and merchandising Buc-ee's unique gift items. The Gift/Merchandise Sales Associate assists in creating visual merchandising displays to draw guests into Buc-ee's gift department and connecting them to the gift items that will make their trip more memorable.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
$20 / hour
Effectively and efficiently complete assigned tasks, such as pricing, merchandising, and selling
Communicate professionally and build positive working relationships with store management and team members
Consistently execute the Company's visual presentation through product pricing and merchandising
Illustrate competent use of Point of Sale and transaction devices for receiving and checking in of goods
Identify and resolve immediate customer and store needs with moderate supervision
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
The position requirements include, but are not limited to:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous retail, customer service and/or sales experience preferred
Must be able to function in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment
Must be able to stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface for long periods of time
Must be able to bend, reach, climb, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side to side and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
