POSITION SUMMARY: QA/QC Engineers serve as the boots-on-the-ground drivers of our Quality Management System (QMS) in the field, shop, and manufacturing environments. Preparing test reports for management.
Providing subject-matter expertise on test equipment and methods to product engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace or Computer engineering field or Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of direct experience
Flexibility/adaptability in a fast-paced & dynamic environment.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a research, development, test or other laboratory environment.
Experience with common laboratory software (LabView, Ansys, MATLab etc).
Experience with test automation.
Familiarity with general purpose electronics test equipment: power supplies, digital multimeters, source meters.
Familiarity with battery systems, and battery cycling equipment.
Familiarity with photovoltaic (PV) solar cells and their design, test or manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with environmental test chambers, vibe table.
Experience in quality control or inspection of complicated electronics, particularly those used for aerospace or defense applications.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complicated systems.
