CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Computer Test Operator. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.
Role and Responsibilities:

* Operates machines to test functioning of parts or whole units
* Runs software programs on repaired machines to test machine functionality
* Tests components or circuits of faulty equipment to locate defects, using special diagnostic software programs
* Tests repaired systems to ensure that they are in working order
* Compares findings with the customers reported problem and advice of failures found
* Forwards units on to quality group for QA inspection, if unit passes test
* Returns unit back to the technician for repair if unit fails test
* May install and configure repaired equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager

Education, Training and Skills:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Computer training diploma preferred
* 1 year of experience assembling /disassembling, testing, trouble shooting and repairing computers preferred
* Must be able to speak, read and write English
* Knowledge of computer hardware
* Must be able to multi task
* Must be familiar with Windows operating system and MS Offices
* Must be able to work with close supervision

This role operates in a warehouse environment. Computer Test operators are required to: stand for the duration of the shift. Frequently walk, sit and twist. Occasionally stoop, crouch or crawl in a safe and efficient manner. Push and pull up to 10lbs. Frequently lift or carry up to 20lbs. Use of small hand tools.

Day Shift - Monday-Friday 6:00am -2:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs electrical testing of integrated circuits using a variety of test equipment to verify device performance according to customer specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

• Follow Quality Documentation Manual procedures to operate ATE and handling equipment under the supervision of a lead operator or supervisor.
• Verify device counts, inspect device and lead integrity, and read and interpret project-specific instruction.
• Utilize the Order Management System software and IPAD to enter test results, view instructions, and reconcile paperwork and previous processing completion.
• Confer with leadership, support staff, and other production personnel regarding test results and equipment performance in order to prevent or resolve problems.
• Perform physical setup of test equipment as necessary.

• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Experience: Prior semiconductor industry experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.
• Utilize effective communication skills to achieve required results.
• Ability to see and identify bent leads up to .004 inches out of tolerance.
• Ability to use time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner.
• Ability to perform data entry and required written paperwork accurately and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

We are looking for Drive Unit Operators to contribute to activities for electric vehicle drive unit components.

Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and should be excellent at multi-tasking.

The Role:Physically install and setup of test articles on test beds.Operate standardized test profiles and monitor test profiles with critical attention and focus.Regularly update test tickets with findings, notes, and general updates.Transport critical drive units to and from offsite test facilities.Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity and accuracy of testing activities.Maintain an impeccably organized workspace.
Qualifications:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Experienced in operating general test interfaces.Experienced with general shop tools i.e. torque wrenches, drivers, power tools, etc.Knowledge of electrical hazards, including precautionary measures around high voltage equipment and rotating machinery.Proficient in operating computers.Experience with Atlassian Jira, National Instruments hardware & related software strongly desired.Detail oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills.A true self-starter.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Experience or familiarity with 5S.
Preferred:Have worked in an R&D environment.Familiar with electric vehicle drive systems.Experience with electric vehicles and/or automotive products.Experienced in specifically operating dyno test interfaces.LabVIEW experience.Forklift experience.Familiarity with communication protocols i.e. CAN, ethernet, mod-bus, etc.
Education:High School diploma or GED.1-2 years of work experience in an R&D environment or similar.
