Under general supervision, the Campus Safety Specialist performs security, public safety support, community engagement, and related community service functions to support a safe, inclusive, and welcoming campus environment for all Titans to thrive. As a team member of UPD, the Campus Safety Specialist shall support efforts to ensure equity and inclusion are incorporated into department operations, programs, services, and culture. A Campus Safety Specialist patrols the University on foot, bicycle, and vehicle to maintain high visibility to protect the campus community and visitors from fire, theft, vandalism, threats, and other safety concerns. The Production Administration Team (PAT) at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) - School of Film and Television (SFTV), a top-ranked film school, serves students in Film Production, Screenwriting, Recording Arts, Animation, and Film Studies. The students in Film Production produce approximately 800 films per year. Each project is overseen by a staff member in PAT. Projects are monitored for adherence to rules, policies, and procedures codified in the SFTV Handbook, and most importantly, for the highest level of workplace safety.
PAT provides services and maintains available facilities and equipment in 5 buildings across two campuses, including sound stages, scene and prop shop, professional cinema-quality camera packages, grip/electric equipment, and production sound equipment for both project and classroom use.
The Post Production department oversees the facilities for video and sound editing as well as sound recording, animation, and the theaters. These facilities include editing suites, sound mixing stages, foley rooms, color correction rooms, a recording studio, computer labs, and three theaters, as well as drawing, motion capture, and stop animation rooms. Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities
* Leads the strategic integration of the Animation and Theater teams into the Post Production department under the direction of the Head of Production.
* Oversees all SFTV Post-Production facilities, workflows, scheduling, and maintenance for both production and class use, including:

Management Responsibility
The Vice Chancellor of Educational Services and Student Success is a management position designated by the Board of Trustees of the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. The incumbent is responsible for the satisfactory completion and/or coordination of the listed duties and responsibilities, either directly or through administrative review. The incumbent is charged by the Board of Trustees with the satisfactory implementation of Board policy and District procedure as applicable to the position. General Description
The Vice Chancellor for Educational and Student Success reports directly to the Chancellor. The Vice Chancellor will provide overall leadership and oversight responsibility for all District instructional programs and student support services. The Vice Chancellor supervises and coordinates academic planning and development, including new degree and certificate programs, as well as revisions and deletions of existing programs. Included among the Vice Chancellor's major duties are leadership in grant development, educational and strategic planning, research, accreditation, community and contract education programs, international programs, enrollment management, workforce and economic development and educational technology.
Appointment
The Vice Chancellor of Educational Services and Student Success shall be appointed by the Governing Board upon the nomination of the Chancellor and shall serve under the terms of an appropriate administrative contract.

Representative Duties
Under the direction of the Chancellor and in collaboration with the College Presidents and Vice Presidents, provide overall leadership to the District in curriculum planning and development, including new programs; coursework and distance learning; program review; research and strategic planning; and in the development, implementation, and coordination of the instructional and student success initiatives of the District.
Coordinate the educational services and planning of the District in collaboration with the College Presidents, Vice Chancellors, Vice Presidents, senior staff, college administrators, and the appropriate shared governance groups. Facilitate the strategic planning and operational planning processes of the district.
Integrate quality indicators within strategic plans to measure achievements and institutional effectiveness of the planning process and initiate necessary modifications to identify specific information needs to support continuous improvements.
In collaboration with administration and faculty, coordinate feasibility studies of new programs, costs, potential partnerships, target student markets, timeline, location, objectives, and other needed data.
Provides leadership to the District's fee-based, community education, apprenticeship, and contract education programs.
Serve as District accreditation liaison officer; provide oversight and coordinate activities related to the accreditation process including development of self-study documents, evidence files, progress reports, site team visit preparation, and other related activities.
Oversee Economic Development and Contract Education in concert with the District's strategic plan and the Chancellor's Initiatives.

Develop and manage the budget for the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Educational Services and Student Success.
Interpret and ensure compliance with federal and state statutes and regulations, the rules and policies of the Board of Trustees, and the administrative directives of the Chancellor as these affect educational and student services.
Work with the Chancellor, Vice Chancellors, College Presidents, and other senior administrators on District-wide issues and initiatives.
In collaboration with the Vice Presidents, maintain the instructional program inventory and monitor the instructional and student support programs of the District.
Coordinate the completion of District reports for federal, state, and local agencies.
Coordinate District research functions, as needed.
Recommend to the Chancellor, and others as appropriate, changes in organizational and operating policies and procedures that affect District educational and student services.

Essential Functions:
• Provide weekly individual voice instruction to music majors, minors, and non-major
students.
• Prepare students for juries, recitals, ensemble performances, and auditions.
• Teach healthy vocal technique applicable across a variety of genres (e.g., classical,
musical theatre, CCM, worship, jazz).
• Assign appropriate repertoire tailored to each student's voice type, goals, and skill level.
• Monitor student progress and maintain regular communication regarding expectations
and development.
• Participate in juries, auditions, and occasional departmental events.
• Support a positive, Christ-centered learning environment that fosters musical and
personal growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance, Music Education, or related field (Master's
degree preferred).
• Demonstrated vocal proficiency and performance experience in one or more styles
relevant to the department's needs.
• Prior experience teaching private voice lessons at the high school or collegiate level.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Commitment to supporting the mission of a Christian liberal arts university.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's or doctoral degree in Vocal Pedagogy, Performance, or Music Education.
• Knowledge of vocal health and physiology.
• Familiarity with diction, vocal literature, and foundational pedagogy for beginning
through advanced students.
• Versatility in accompanying students or working closely with collaborative pianists.
Salary: Part-time. The following salary range reflects compensation paid for a 3-unit course (144 total hours), and varies based on the faculty member's highest earned degree. Total compensation is based on the number of courses taught and corresponding units for each course.
$3,024 to $3,600 / course
