Job Summary:
The Staff Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology Department applies ionizing radiation to a diverse population of patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. They must be capable of operating radiation-producing equipment utilizing radiation safety measures and be able to perform a series of complex and precise technical procedures.

Participates in Quality Control monitoring.
- a.Delivers consistent precise therapy to a designated treatment area.
- b.Demonstrates skill in patient assessment, performing procedures and giving specialty care to patients, considering the age of the patient and appropriately adopts care for age (adolescent, adult and geriatrics).
- c.Documents appropriately in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

- f.Reports adverse reactions to physician immediately and follows policy and procedure (P/P) for documentation.
- g.Educates patient/family on expected side effects, use of blocks, wedges and other treatment aids.
- h.Follows P/P to ensure precise treatment per physician prescription.
- i.Follows P/P to ensure precise treatment per physicists instruction in chart or computer. Follows proper procedure to ensure safety to self and patient.
- a.Assesses mobility of patients and manages accordingly, looks at EMR for fall precautions.
- b.Wears radiation safety badges at all times.
- c.Practices universal precautions.
- d.Participates in daily warm-up procedures to ensure output is within tolerances

Work Shift
Various (United States of America) Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional registered nurse responsible for the nursing care of a defined patient population. Care is provided through the use of the nursing process and in a manner that is cost effective while maintaining quality of care and optimal patient outcomes. The RN performs assessments, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions and evaluates the effectiveness of care. The RN participates in unit based and organizational quality improvement initiatives, meets continuing education requirements, participates in student/new employee orientations/teaching activities, upholds Patient Care Services philosophy and objectives, demonstrates professional growth and development through involvement in professional organizations, reviews professional literature and participates in continuing education programs.
Position Requirements: Graduate from an accredited/approved school of nursing and 2 years or more of experience in RN experience in related area (floor or critical care). Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). ACLS, PALS, or NRP (only in select units/departments) must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license.
Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's of Nursing. National specialty certification applicable to area of practice.
Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend and two minor and one major holiday

Are you a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with a desire to impact the lives of the older adult population? If so, our Rehab Team at Peter Becker Community in Harleysville, PA is seeking its next employee-owner team member. We will be filling this full time at Peter Becker (40 hours weekly) for January 23, 2026. We can hire full time prior for PB and to cover a few of our other communities in the area.
Responsibilities
As a Full Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will work closely with the Occupational Therapist to establish appropriate goals and creatively execute the treatment plans. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.
Qualifications
* Be a graduate of an accredited school for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
* Hold a valid or pending (for newer graduates) state license.
* It's great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required!
* Nethealth Experience a plus!
