Job DescriptionTHOR Solutions is actively seeking a highly motivated subject matter expert-level Naval Architect with a focus on Structures to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG)'s Ship Design Team in Washington, DC. An ideal candidate will have significant prior experience with designing structural and strength components for shipboard use, experience with marine structural codes, and development and use of structural analysis calculations in U.S. Federal or commercial shipbuilding environments. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Lead and support monthly and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP and applicable government contract terms (T&M, CPFF, FFP). Apply and monitor indirect cost rates (Fringe, Overhead, G&A, etc.) in alignment with provisional billing rates and Incurred Cost Submissions (ICS). Assist in preparation of Incurred Cost Submission.
