The Emergent Psychiatrist will provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with acute psychiatric emergencies in our Emergency Department and inpatient units. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, compassionate, and evidence-based psychiatric care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments for patients presenting with psychiatric emergencies.
Develop and implement treatment plans for emergent psychiatric conditions including mood disorders, psychosis, substance intoxication/withdrawal, and suicidal ideation.
Provide crisis intervention and stabilization for patients in the Emergency Department and inpatient settings.
Collaborate with emergency medicine physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with best practices and hospital policies.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences to optimize patient outcomes.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to psychiatric care.
Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to hospital education programs as needed.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry with additional training or experience in Emergency Psychiatry preferred.
Valid medical license to practice in Georgia or eligibility for licensure.
Demonstrated expertise in managing acute psychiatric emergencies.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position is part of a 24/7/365 high volume, suicide prevention focused call team. Our department has been featured in a Time Magazine article detailing our team's efforts toward suicide prevention. As a part of this team, you'd be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis. This is an excellent position for recent graduates interested in providing support and demonstrating compassion toward others while being a part of a dynamic team of crisis care consultants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate high level of clinical knowledge and skill in providing telephonic clinical screenings, risk assessments, means restriction, and crisis intervention to callers.
Conduct outreach calls to individuals assessed by mobile crisis to promote safety
Meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation.
Attend team meetings, in-service training, supervision, and other quality assurance training.
Demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette.
Demonstrate knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources.
Promote a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other cross-functional departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public at large.
Assist in administrative tasks as needed.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Provides therapeutic interventions to promote personal growth and resiliency in the form of emotional, cognitive, behavioral and/or psychological changes in clients with a primary behavioral health diagnosis. Performs continuing assessment of the client's needs and functioning, maintenance of appropriate documentation and development, and implementation of personal growth plans consistent with the client's therapeutic needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides community-based services utilizing evidence-based methodologies to provide excellent clinical services. Prepares for and conducts individual, group, and family mental health services for assigned caseload. Assists client in developing an individualized service plan, must be person centered, family centered, and service centered. Monitors client progress in treatment and participates in service plan reviews as assigned. Updates service plans as appropriate.
Submits service plans at all stages for medical review, if applicable. Conducts intake for client entering services, including explaining services, gathering information needed on intake materials, ensuring client understands all forms, assuring signature on appropriate contracts and consents, and submitting materials for processing, as assigned. Conducts assessment and writes assessment summaries, as assigned. Assists clients with making linkage with internal and external resources as outlined in service plan and in coordination with Integrated Healthcare Services. Maintains appropriate contact with referral sources including providing information on client progress, behavior, and needs (with appropriate releases), and maintaining ongoing consultation when appropriate.
Assists client in making discharge plans and provide follow up services as assigned. Demonstrates commitment to all assigned clients and families at various stages of change by using motivational interviewing and outreaching clients who have disengaged from services. Provides assertive outreach, advocacy and follow-up to assigned clients. For disengaged clients and families, a minimum of 2 attempted phone outreaches, 1 attempted home visit outreach and 1 letter of interest are completed and documented in the Electronic Health Record. Ensures services provided are driven by client personal growth goals.
Links all clinical documentation to identified personal growth goals and objectives as indicated on the individual service plan. Ensures documentation of Progress Contact Note (PCN) activities reflect personal growth plan objectives and demonstrate medical necessity. Utilizes PCN completion as a personal growth tool to celebrate client successes and identify growth areas by completing progress notes concurrently with clients. Completes and submits all required clinical documentation within established timeframes (generally within 24 hours of service provision). To ensure a complete clinical record, completes Progress Contact Notes for all contacts, canceled/failed appointments and attempted contacts with clients and collaterals within established timeframes.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Provides care, oversight and training in all aspects of independent living skills to adults presenting with significant functional and behavioral deficits related to severe mental illness. The Life Skills Instructor provides structure, monitoring and advocacy services to residents in a group home supervised residential setting. As part of Centerstone team-oriented philosophy, the Life Skills Instructor is expected to actively participate in variety of cross-functional teams and performance improvement initiatives
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises residents during structured and unstructured time to ensure safety of the residents and staff and models appropriate behavior.
Assists client in building a natural support team. Integrates natural community supports/resources, for any and all life domain area(s) identified as needing improvement, into the service delivery process.
Provides medication training and monitoring to support client personal growth and to assess client compliance and efficacy of medication, as indicated on the client's personal growth plan.
Assists clients with achieving their personal growth goals. Throughout the personal growth process, ensures services provided are driven by client personal growth goals. Links all clinical documentation to identified personal growth goals and objectives as indicated on the Individual Personal Growth Plan (IPGP). Ensures documentation of Progress Contact Note (PCN) activities reflect personal growth plan objectives and demonstrate medical necessity. Utilizes PCN completion as a personal growth tool to celebrate client successes and identify growth areas by completing progress notes concurrently with clients. Clinical documentation indicates active client involvement services (i.e. documentation is in the words of the person served).
Ensures a complete clinical record, completes Progress Contact Notes for all contacts with clients and collaterals within established timeframes.
Presents relevant information for the purpose of assuring quality of care, gaining feedback, and planning changes in provision of personal growth-based services. Identifies and reports all critical incidents according to policy. Demonstrates an ability to manage crisis situations, including danger to self and others, to ensure the safety and stabilization of clients and to make appropriate referrals/linkages when clinically indicated. Does not leave crisis situation until client is in a safe environment or crisis is resolved.
Demonstrates the ability to help the client identify, select and practice strategies allowing the client to develop the knowledge, skills and/or attitudes required for successful relapse prevention and attainment of personal growth goals. Demonstrates ability to do this by taking into consideration such characteristics such as disability, gender, sexual orientation, developmental level, ethnicity, age, spirituality and health status. Modifies approaches to engage clients or provide services as appropriate to the developmental/age-specific issues, cognitive ability, functional status, and/or diagnosis.
Communicates and coordinates with other social service providers and program staff regarding client personal growth progress.
Assists in the training of new employees and in-service training pertaining to position's specialty.
Encourages and facilitates personal growth and development toward personal growth and wellness. Empowers clients to be self-sufficient.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position requires traveling within the following counties: Madison, Calhoun, Jersey, Greene, Macoupin, Montgomery, and Bond. The role is responsible for providing wrap-around and/or intensive care coordination to youth and families with high needs.
Key responsibilities include conducting in-person, community-based child and family team meetings, reviewing IMCANS, supporting crisis services, and evaluating prevention and safety plans. The position works collaboratively with other service teams to meet the needs of clients assigned through Pathways and may involve assisting with connecting clients to appropriate services, advocating on their behalf, providing ongoing support, and monitoring the effectiveness of services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provides Care Coordination and support for High Fidelity Wraparound (for Tier 1 clients) or Intensive Care Coordination (for Tier 2 clients). Works in consultation/collaboration with clients, family members and other providers to implement plan.
Provides assertive outreach, advocacy, support and follow-up to assigned clients. Documents all outreach attempts and ensures all services/ outreaches indicated in the personal growth plan are provided in accordance with identified frequency.
Provides ongoing case management services for assigned service recipients, including but not limited to assessment, planning, linking, monitoring, referral and advocacy. Provides case management to Family Support Program (FSP) and/or Specialized Family Support Program (SFSP) youth.
Assists client in building a natural support team. Integrates natural community supports/resources, for any and all life domain area(s) identified as needing improvement, into the personal growth planning process and service delivery process.

About the Internship Program
We take a team approach to recovery and similarly we take a team approach to internships. Students are given an opportunity to work with many of our clinical staff as supervisors and mentors. Students are also encouraged to participate on multidisciplinary teams that can include psychiatrists, nurses, art therapist, counselors, social workers, recovery support specialists, and certified alcohol and drug counselors. Students have opportunities to participate in employee resource groups that focus on growing cultural humility and understanding ethics around social justice. The goal is for people in services to receive safe and effective care while also helping develop well rounded clinicians.
