**Responsibilities**
Project Execution
+ Oversee all on-site construction activities for designated projects, ensuring that they align with overall project goals and timeframes.
+ Manage material logistics, EPC coordination, and site management efforts for seamless project execution.
+ Collaborate effectively with EPC/Design-Build and logistics teams to enable flawless integration across various components of the project.
Construction Planning and Coordination
+ Formulate, review, and enforce detailed construction plans that meet operational objectives.

Client Interaction
+ Act as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, providing timely updates on project progress, financials, timelines, and potential risks.

+ Provide regular, transparent project status reports to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
Team Collaboration
+ Engage closely with Project Managers, schedulers, project controllers, and engineers to align field operations with strategic project goals.
+ Supervise and encourage general and logistics contractors in their scope of work executions.
+ Lead on-site meetings for construction management briefings to ensure everyone is aligned on objectives.
Communication and Reporting
+ Prepare comprehensive reports detailing project status, timelines, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
+ Ensure robust communication across all program areas, including clients and internal teams.
**Qualifications**
- 10+ years of construction experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent or Leadership role, preferably within the power generation industry.
- Must possess a proactive mindset; highly motivated, with demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of rapidly learning and understanding various processes related to Kiewit's operational policies, procedures, and software applications.
- Proficient in identifying and mitigating potential problems that may arise during the course of a project.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Oversees a major construction project by planning, scheduling and coordinating all phases of the project
2. Organizes and manages a large project staff where the duties of project managers and superintendents must be divided between multiple employee-owners

Ensures that all terms and specifications in the contract are being met; inspects work in progress at frequent intervals to ensure that work put in place is in accordance with the plans and specifications; works with the superintendent to ensure that uniformly high standards of quality are established and maintained throughout the project; documents construction problems/deficiencies encountered for future reference

Approves all subcontractor work for partial and/or full payment, approving and coding invoices and signing pay requests; ensures that all close-out documentation and punch list items are satisfactorily resolved before authorizing final release of retainage; monitors subcontractors and vendors for adherence to performance and payment obligations under the agreement and makes timely notifications to Risk Management or the surety as required
8. Establishes and maintains a cost accounting system in accordance with corporate guidelines; oversees the conversion of bid documents to the various cost elements in the Job Cost Statement; prepares monthly job status reports for review by management; investigates and attempts to remedy cost variances that are not within established norms; reviews Labor Cost Reports with the superintendent at regular intervals and ensures that field supervisors are kept up to date on the unit costs for their work and how it compares with the bid estimate
9. Prepares and submits the monthly pay request for the owners and architects, ensuring that billings are processed in an accurate, timely manner; if delays in payment are encountered, the PM identifies and corrects the cause of the delay in order to expedite payment

Works with the Scheduling department to develop a master construction schedule outlining the sequence of work to be performed; ensures that the CPM schedule is updated periodically, based on change orders, field performance, availability of construction materials and similar factors that can impact the final completion date

Distributes proposed changes for pricing, prices any self-perform work, verifies subcontractor pricing, and evaluates the schedule impact due to the change in scope; submits and negotiates proposed changes, ensuring that necessary owner approvals have been obtained in writing before construction work begins and notifies the superintendent of the accepted changes

Together with the superintendent, ensures compliance with all federal, state and municipal laws, ordinances and building codes related to construction, including company policies and procedures dealing with employment, compensation, health, safety, labor/management relations, etc.; takes corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance, reducing company exposure to litigation and/or fines
13. Performs a variety of tasks associated with completion of a project, including closeout documentation, completion reports, collection of final monies due, SWPPP, etc.

Conducts project HSE inspections and verifies that corrective actions have been implemented.
Supports project teams with the implementation of the emergency response plan and monitors project security requirements.
Gathers, reviews, and provides input on trade documentation and monitors trade contractor safety compliance.
Verifies that equipment and tool inspections are being conducted and documented as per requirements.
Notifies appropriate stakeholders of any incident and supporting the investigation.

Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program.
Working toward Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
Working toward safety designation
Ability to learn applicable OH&S, environmental legislation and HSE processes.

Ability to identify and resolve conflicts with craft workers.
Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

Position Description:
Laborers have general responsibility to provide support and assistance to the other skilled crafts working on the project. Laborers provide support for the form carpenters and for the concrete operation in general, ironworkers/rodbusters involved in installing reinforcing steel, and masons involved in the installation of block and brickwork. This is a safety sensitive position.
Position Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Valid Driver's License.
· Follow safe work practices in accordance with the Hensel Phelps safety and health program.
· Must be able to take initiative.
· Possess a keen attention to detail and be able to follow instructions.
· Workers must provide their own safety footwear.
· Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and stakeholders.
· Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
· Must be reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experienced in construction layout, blueprint reading and shop drawing reading.
· OSHA 10 Certification.
· CPR & First Aid Certification.
Essential Duties:
· Preparation of areas for the placement of concrete involves final excavation of dirt and rock and fine grading for floor slabs. This work involves shoveling for extended periods of time.
· Assembly of concrete forms, laborers are required to lift form prefabricated metal form panels and assist in their placement.
· Handle the concrete bucket suspended from a crane that transfers the concrete from the concrete truck to the placement area. After the concrete is poured from the bucket, laborers muck the concrete in slabs to spread it evenly.
· After the concrete has cured, the laborers assist in stripping the concrete forms and transporting them for storage.
· Assist concrete finishers in moving power trowels and power screeds used to finish the concrete surface.
· Support of block masons installing masonry work by handling and transporting bags of cement, lime, sand, and grout. This includes stocking blocks and bricks.
· Assist carpenters in handling and setting door frames. This entails transporting the door frames from the storage area to the work areas and stacking the door frames where needed.
· Loads, unloads, and identifies building materials, machinery, and tools. Distributes site materials to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications. Responsible for ensuring that all materials are properly distributed, and the site is swept and well maintained.
· Promotes a safe work environment and communicates jobsite hazards. This includes helping to secure the jobsite at the end of business each day and verifying that all site materials are properly stored.
**Physical Work Classification & Demands:**
- Heavy Work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

- Walking - The person in this position needs to frequently move about the jobsite.

- Constantly reads written communications and views mail submissions. Will also need to read and understand blueprints, load charts, and take/verify field measurements.
