The Medical Director participates in management and the development and review of agency-wide policies and procedures related to medical care received by agency persons served. The medical director directs and reviews the medical services provided by agency medical staff and medical consultants to ensure that service quality is consistent with agency standards and licensing rules.
Position Expectation:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides direct medical services to agency clients.
Participates in Quality Assessment and Improvement and peer review activities related to medical issues. Documents all peer to peer related activity for CARF and insurance purposes.
Reviews medically related Incident Reports/Medical Errors and provides appropriate feedback/direction regarding same as necessary.
As assigned, performs an annual review of the agency's medical policies, procedures and formularies. Makes recommendations for changes, as necessary/appropriate, to administrative staff.
Participates in clinical case staffing and reviews of client treatment plans as required by Medicaid or other third-party payers.
Reviews and signs appropriate treatment/care plans, Medicaid and other health insurance claims. Functions as the Chief Medical Officer for insurance related issues
Provides for the provision of medical services (standing orders, Detox protocols for the different types of detox regiments and medication orders) provided by nursing staff, advanced registered nurse practioners, physician's assistants, and consulting physicians.
Provides or obtains emergency physician back up and consultation service based upon the physician s availability to TCHS.
Is available to agency medical staff and consulting physicians in an on-call capacity and carries a cellphone to facilitate same.
Provides primary care medical services to inmates of the contracted county jails. Supervises assigned midlevel practitioners and nurses within the jail setting. Reviews medical care plans, treatment plans and prescribed medications per established protocols for inmates per state of Florida established regulations.
Attends up to four (4) Board of Director meetings to provide information as to agency compliance to established medical protocol, standing orders and pharmacy formulary.
Provides validation of training that meets physician and agency licensing requirements
Minimum Training and Experience:
Requires licensure as a physician by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and knowledge of substance abuse/dependence issues. Certification as an Addictionologist is preferred.

This exempt full-time position is part of our talented IT team that supports the Netsmart Avatar Electronic Health Record. Experience with the Netsmart solution is a plus. JOB SUMMARY:

10. Verify received invoices for products received by each unit via UPS, Fed EX, USPS or other shipping source, make sure necessary signatures are on them, and send to Accounts Payable.

12. Prepare all End of Month Reports including, but not limited to, Fire and Safety, Supervisor Inspection of all vehicles, Monthly drills, UA Logs, Mileage Logs, Hospital Referral Logs, Ineligibility to Service Logs, P/S surveys, Tampon/Pad logs to the Unit and Residential Director
13. Oversee and prepare all TANF forms making sure that Admissions/Discharges are timely

Assesses clients referred for substance abuse and mental health evaluations and makes appropriate treatment recommendations regarding same.
Performs case management functions such as maintaining case records and coordinating additional services as necessary.
Acts as a group leader/facilitator during group counseling sessions.
Provides individual counseling to program clients.
Provides family counseling to program clients.
Provides supervision and coordination of the work of other staff members as delegated by the Clinical Supervisor/Program Supervisor.
Acts as a resource for other staff members with regard to appropriate treatment modalities, methods, and techniques to be utilized with program clients.
As directed, represents the Agency in matters of petition for involuntary treatment and consults with other professionals regarding addictions and mental health treatment and intervention.
It is understood that the employee will also perform other reasonable and related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor or administrative personnel.
Minimum Training and Experience
Requires a Master's Degree in field related to Human Services, which include but not limited to: Social Work; Clinical Psychology; Counseling; Rehabilitative Counseling; Counseling Education; Education; Criminal Justice; or Ministry from an accredited college or university and at least one (1) year full-time experience in a mental health and/or addictions treatment setting. A certification as an Addictions Professional (CAP) by the Certification Board for Addiction Professionals of Florida is preferred.
Requires extensive knowledge of all aspects of addictions and/or mental health treatment and rehabilitation including familiarity with various models of treatment, understanding of various therapeutic techniques and approaches, and the ability to identify and utilize the most effective form of treatment with each client.
Requires a strong knowledge base regarding the causes, symptoms, and progression of substance abuse and/or mental health problems.

This position will perform a variety of journey level skilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance and repair of district buildings, facilities, and equipment in areas of building trades including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and HVACR.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains work logs and records related to completed work tasks.
Receives work orders and determines necessary tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete assignments.
Installs and makes repairs to electrical wiring, switches, outlets, fixtures, and motors.
Paints walls and buildings and performs other related tasks including preparing surfaces for painting or repainting.
Patches and repairs roofs and gutters.
Cuts, assembles, and installs pipe.
Installs and make emergency repairs and adjustments to plumbing fixtures and equipment including pipes, washers and gaskets, faucets, floats, and valves.
Repairs and/or replaces door hinges, locks, thresholds, door closure, door jambs, and panic hardware.
Clean, maintain, diagnose and repair/install heating/air conditioning units; change filters etc.
Mixes, pours, and finishes concrete, stucco, and plaster for assigned projects.
Responsibly uses and maintains tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
Replaces windows, screens, and repairs damage to walls.
Operates a variety of hand and power tools including saws, welders, electric drills, etc., in a safe and appropriate manner.
Inspect work to be completed; estimate material and labor cost; prioritize and schedule work; order parts according to established procedures.
Follows current building codes and OSHA requirements when performing maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities and equipment.
Obtains quotes and assists with the bid process on work to be performed by outside contractors. Recommends selection of contractors and oversees work to be performed.
Inspects and maintains agency refrigeration systems.
Maintains and repairs kitchen equipment and appliances.
Maintains and repairs custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, low/high speed buffers (swingers) etc.
Performs other duties like the above in scope and function as required.
Minimum Training and Experience
High School Graduate or GED
Possession of a valid and appropriate Florida Driver's License.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in general maintenance and construction work.
Certified in one skilled trade such as electrician, plumber, HVAC or other appropriate certification.
Possess and maintain knowledge of:
Methods, practices, and materials used in several areas of the building trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC repairs.
Safe use and operation of a variety of buildings, repair/maintenance tools and equipment.
Be available for 'on call' work evenings or weekends and for unforeseen situations as necessary.
Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
Ability to:
Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.
Perform basic mathematic calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Effectively estimate the scope of work assignments and appropriate tools and materials necessary to complete each assignment.
Meeting the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform the required duties.
