We are searching for team members who are passionate about challenging and exciting work for the good of every patient! This position is part time, days. The shift is Monday, Tuesday and Friday, from 7am-3:30pm, at White Memorial Hospital. It is preferred that technologist be able to perform general ultrasound, OB, vascular studies and vein mapping exams. New hire bonus available for those that qualify! Provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound to generate images of patients' internal organs, tissues, and blood flow. Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment. Evaluates images for diagnostic quality and makes necessary adjustments to capture the best possible images. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and adjusting equipment as needed. Familiar with current scan protocols. Maintains compliance with high level disinfection practices. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed. Possesses familiarity with ultrasound contrast indications and administration practices. Provides intraoperative ultrasound as requested. Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient's body.
