Pay & Logistics
Base Rate: depending on location: US $16.07, GB £ 13.30 GBP, CA $20.50 CAD, AU $26.25 AUD, IE €14.60 EUR, NZ $26.00 NZD
Bonuses: Additional pay available based on project performance.
Type: Freelance/1099 contract - not an internship.
Location: 100% remote

This is a freelance position that is paid on a per-hour basis. We don't offer internships as this is a freelance role. You are a good fit if you: - Have **at least 2 years of experience** working at top firms in investment banking or private equity with deal experience (academic experience does not count, must be on desk) Here are more details about the role: - The work is **fully asynchronous** and can be done around your schedule - You will be **building financial models** from scratch that would be reflective of what you did on desk - You must be able to commit **at least 20 hours per week** for this role - This contract is till end of February (with the possibility of extension) - Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor - The vetting process involves: - ~10 minute behavioral interview asking about previous deals you've worked on - Technical assessment ( < 30 minutes) evaluating financial expertise With respect to pay and legal status: - **This role will pay $150/hour** - We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect based on the number of hours you log - You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor - Please note that we **cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates** Limited time referral bonus: - **$1,000 referral bonus** for anyone you refer between December 11th and December 14th that passes the work trial and works at least 10 hours on the project - After that, the referral bonus will go back to $500
