Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning * Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies. * Participate in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates. * Support onboarding and integration processes to ensure a positive new-hire experience. Injury & Leave Administration * Assist employees and managers with workplace injury reporting and return-to-work processes. * Manage leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, personal leaves, etc.) in coordination with internal teams and third-party administrators. * Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal leave laws. HR Strategy & Support * Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, career development, succession planning, and organizational design. * Analyze HR metrics and trends to recommend solutions and build organizational capability. * Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and programs. * Partner with leadership to support a culture aligned with company values. Qualifications Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; * OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. * 3 to 5 years of HR Business Partner experience, or progressively responsible HR experience with HRBP-related responsibilities. * Demonstrated proficiency in employee relations, workplace investigations, and grievance handling. * Experience with talent acquisition, including sourcing and interviewing candidates. * Experience managing employee injuries, including workers' compensation processes. * Experience administering leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, state-specific leaves). * Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to build strong partnerships and influence without authority.Preferred Qualifications * HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP). * Experience in a multi-location or fast-paced environment. JOB RESPONSIBLITIES: * Serves as the department's fiscal manager: understands FTE management and overtime management, provides budget input to director, maintains familiarity with financial information, understands the department's expenses and revenues, etc. * Carries out the personnel management activities associated with direct staff supervision, including screening and selection, orientation training and development, performance management, and employee relations functions. * Observes a minimum of 2 groups per Recreation Therapist per quarter. * Collects and interprets data from patient records to identify areas in need of development and improvement. * Reports data findings to Quality Council and EOC in a timely manner when requested. * Develops groups and programs ensuring age and diagnosis appropriate; modifies groups according to the changing needs of the patients and the patient community. * Assists the Recreation Therapy team with assessments on all assigned cases; meets with each resident within timelines given, summarizing individual ability, motivation, and preference. * Facilitates training for staff related to group facilitation and documentation of groups as needed or requested by Directors/Managers. * Coordinates family night for the facility. * Provides oversight to Challenge Course/Ropes Coordinator. * Demonstrates the ability to provide information and necessary paperwork to those interested in attending the Challenge Course. * Recommends to the treatment team effective alternatives or modification to treatment plans based on the patient progress and response to treatment plan. * Provides therapeutic recreation and expressive therapy groups. * Remains flexible in providing a variety of appropriate therapeutic interventions depending on patient needs and abilities. * Maintains a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients. * Performs other duties as assigned.
