Position Description

The position involves the installation and modification of specialized equipment and components for emergency vehicles, including but not limited to police vehicles. The Police Vehicle Upfit Technician must demonstrate knowledge in wiring and electrical systems, sheet metal installation, and appropriate mechanical techniques and practices. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent education
2+ years of experience working with emergency vehicle upfitting or related professional experience
