Design and optimize water and wastewater treatment processes across municipal and industrial facilities, including biological, chemical, and physical treatment systems Be responsible for process design deliverables (scope, schedule, and budget) including QA/QC processes at all project stages, with emphasis on treatment performance and regulatory compliance Conduct process modeling, mass balance calculations, and equipment sizing for treatment facilities and process upgrades Design and specify mechanical process equipment including pumps, blowers, mixers, and conveyors with focus on process performance and energy efficiency Work independently and with a team to drive project deliverables as a process design specialist, collaborating with civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines Work closely with utility clients, operators, and regulatory agencies to represent Windsor positively, identify process improvement opportunities, and grow strong long-term relationships Develop and maintain relationships with team members, utility clients, equipment vendors, and industry partners to expand Windsor's network and market presence in the treatment sector Collaborate with and explain complex treatment processes and optimization strategies to a diverse stakeholder group while positioning Windsor's process engineering expertise Support estimating and proposal efforts for new water/wastewater treatment opportunities, including development of innovative process solutions and performance guarantees Effectively plan and manage multiple process design tasks and deadlines and complete deliverables on time and on budget while ensuring treatment performance standards Mentor junior team members in process engineering principles, treatment system design, regulatory requirements, and operational considerations Champion and be responsible for quality control and following Windsor's Quality Management Plan (QMP) with particular attention to treatment performance and effluent quality standards Develop and apply knowledge of treatment processes, process control systems, regulatory codes, and modeling software to deliver innovative treatment solutions Coordinate with other disciplines including mechanical systems (process piping, equipment layouts, HVAC), electrical/controls, structural, and operations teams Complete treatment facility site visits, pilot testing oversight, and startup/commissioning support as needed.
