The Accounting Assistant role is an entry-level position that supports our Accountants and Senior Accounts. As part of our Shared Services team the Accounting Assistant uploads files, reviews transactions, codes checks, reconciles transactions and accounts, communicates with customers to obtain needed information in the bookkeeping process, and more. This role is a stepping stone for both those finishing up their degrees or brand new to accounting after graduating. This is a role where every day you will learn and grow and become stronger in your knowledge as an accountant. Many Xendoo accountants start in this role.
Requirements:

· Assure remedial or corrective actions take place when test systems deviate from the laboratory's specified performance specifications
· Ensure testing and recording of results in all lab areas are managed by the technical team
· Understand reference laboratory workflow
· Provide resolution for technical and non-technical variances occurring in the laboratory
· Verify the Lab Director's review of monthly QC, maintenance, patient records, and QA monitors
· Ensure test analysis and specimen examination meets all acceptable performance criteria
· Evaluate and/or implement new procedures, tests, or methodologies
· Ensure that patient test results are reported & all criteria for test performance characteristics are acceptable
· Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties
· Provide orientation to testing personnel ensuring lab users are trained on the correct use of the lab equipment
· Ensure all users of the lab are wearing the appropriate PPE
· Ensure all CAP, CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and any other appropriate regulatory standards are adhered to while performing related duties
· Identify and resolve workplace problems, including tardiness or absenteeism
· Ensure that the laboratory is cleaned/sanitized and maintain inventory in a neat and acceptable manner

Your Purpose:
Reporting to Brightline's General Counsel & Chief Legal Officer, the Assistant General Counsel will serve as a member of a team of in-house legal advisors to the operating, technology and development departments, including representing Brightline in connection with all new and existing construction, maintenance, joint facility agreements, and technology related agreements and providing day to day legal advice to these departments.
Your Role:
Contract Negotiation & Management:
Support multiple client groups, specifically the Operations, Development Construction, and Technology functions.
Draft, negotiate and manage complex construction, maintenance and joint facility agreements in support of Brightline's operations and the expansion and maintenance of Brightline facilities. Brightline shares its rail corridor with Florida East Coast Railway and the SFRTA. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating joint facilities agreements, construction and maintenance agreements, and amendments to existing agreements Support the Operating Department with the negotiation of schedules, maintenance activities, and capital planning.
Draft, negotiate and manage IT and software‑related agreements, including SaaS, cloud computing, software licensing, hardware procurement, managed services, and technology consulting contracts. Ensure technology agreements address intellectual property rights, service levels, data security, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
Compliance with Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Laws: Advise on compliance with applicable data privacy and cybersecurity laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and export control requirements. Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines for technology transactions.
Contract Counseling and Enforcement: Provide contract interpretation and advice to our business teams in administering and enforcing construction, maintenance, joint facilities and technology agreements.
