OPPORTUNITY
The Data Analyst is a critical member of the Evaluation & Learning team, primarily responsible for the management, analysis, interpretation, and visualization of data to inform program strategy and measure organizational impact. This role works closely with the Data Coordinator, Salesforce Systems Administrator, and Data Training & Support Manager to translate raw program data into actionable insights for staff, leadership, and other stakeholders, including monitoring for accurate, complete, and consistent data. This position requires a strong analytical background, proficiency with data reporting tools-particularly Salesforce, and a passion for data-driven decision making.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis & Reporting
Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of program outcome and impact data to assess performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
Develop, maintain, and refine data analysis and reporting tools for use across programs and organizational departments.
Generate custom reports and insightful dashboards using Salesforce and other data sources to address key organizational, programmatic, and evaluation questions.
Translate complex findings into clear, compelling visualizations, infographics, and presentations for internal and external audiences, including funders and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Development and Marketing & Communications teams to provide accurate impact data for grant proposals, reports, and communications materials.
Coordinate the dissemination of findings, conclusions, and recommendations from analyses to support continuous improvement, learning, and strategic decision-making across the organization.
Data Management Collaboration
Work in partnership with the Salesforce Systems Administrator to ensure the database structure and configuration supports efficient and robust data analysis.
Collaborate with the Data Coordinator to maintain data integrity and quality through routine audits, validation of bulk uploads, and resolution of data quality issues.
Support the Data Training & Support Manager by identifying recurring data integrity issues and providing context on analytical needs to inform training resources and promote data-informed decision making among staff.
Evaluation Support
Contribute to the design and maintenance of program performance management systems.
Assist in the design and maintenance of data collection instruments, such as applications, surveys, and assessments.
Participate in program design, planning and strategic planning processes.
General Duties
Participate in regular professional development activities, team meetings, and supervisorial meetings.
Support and represent 10,000 Degrees at fundraising and appreciation events.
Other duties as assigned.
This position requires some in-person presence and/or travel within the regions served.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; relevant fields such as public policy, sociology, or public administration preferred
Proven background in research, evaluations, outcome measurement, or statistical analysis
Minimum of 1-3 years experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis
Extensive experience with CRM databases, including reporting and dashboard development
Specific experience with Salesforce strongly preferred; Salesforce certification a plus
Proficiency with spreadsheets, including Microsoft Excel (advanced skill preferred), and the ability to work with databases and statistical analysis packages
Exceptional analytical ability with the skill to summarize complex information clearly and concisely to a diverse audience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail, especially when working with complex data sets

The CTRU is seeking two Research Phlebotomists to perform phlebotomy and duties related to the collection of clinical samples and assisting with the operational and administrative requirements to support the clinical trial operations for several research studies. This position will be involved in a range of duties including but not limited to phlebotomy, EKGs, scheduling and organizing participant appointments, reception duties, registering participants, reviewing participant medical orders, taking vital signs and weight and height measurements, assisting with logistics, and serving as liaison with internal and external colleagues.
The Research Phlebotomists report to the CTRU Nurse Manager. This position places a heavy emphasis on attention to detail, effective communication and the ability to multitask efficiently and accurately is required.
Duties include:
Perform basic measurements and tests on patients according to protocol, such as obtaining vital signs and performing phlebotomy and EKG, after appropriate training/certification. Collect study specimens according to protocol.
Schedule and/or call subjects for appointments; contact participants with reminders or other requirements.
Prepare, distribute, and process questionnaires.
Prepare research meals/perform kitchen clean up duties as needed for research participants in the unit.
Perform clerical duties in the preparation of regulatory documents. Maintain all forms and documents, including consent forms and master subject logs. File all appropriate correspondence.
Assist with the screening, recruiting, and obtaining consent forms for study participants. Review medical records and/or perform telephone or in-person interviews to gather data, as needed.
Administer standard study questionnaires and tests, score test measurements and questionnaires, and code data for computer entry. Perform quantitative review of forms, tests, and other measurements for completeness and accuracy.
Extract data from source documents for research studies as directed. Collect data and complete case report forms.
Prepare, process, and ship specimens/samples accurately under well-defined requirements.
Order and maintain equipment and supplies.

To perform the essential functions of this position, employees may be required to:
