RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Choose between 3x12 or 4x12 schedule options
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Float required to MS, MS/Tele, IMC, and ED Boarder units as needed
• Care for ED boarder patients and inpatient unit patients
• Must have 2 years of experience and travel experience required
• MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required
• ER holding experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: CPI and NIHSS
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Patient care for adults and geriatrics
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Experience required with accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and various medical equipment
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Charting system experience with Cerner preferred

Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• 2:1 patient ratio during day shifts
• Care for 21 beds with daily census of 30 patients
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• PACU and pre-operative experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• First time travelers accepted
• Must have compact license or Maryland license
• Two supervisor references required
• Care for adolescents, adults, and pediatric patients (typically not younger than 6 years old)
• Provide recovery care for mostly orthopedic cases and some general surgery patients
• Manage vascular patients including bypasses and fistula creations
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Perform Phase I and Phase II recovery nursing duties
• Manage arterial lines, dysrhythmia recognition, blood product administration, and IV management
• Handle procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Provide pre-operative assessments and education
• Complete modules averaging 12 hours (billable up to 4 hours)
