Manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to work in their engineering team. The Process Engineer will be responsible for overseeing an assigned area related to best practices, KPI improvements, plan execution and new technology industrialization. Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the company's best manufacturing initiatives as a team and by partnering with other sites
Monitoring and analysis of production numbers and KPIs

Manufacturing Engineering - Manufacturing Engineers lead, create and implement innovative technical activities and solutions in almost all areas of Manufacturing operations. Manufacturing Engineers monitor and manage equipment and processes to ensure optimal manufacturing performance and function while minimizing operating expenses. (Available in Ohio, Indiana & Alabama)
Equipment/Tooling Design Engineering - Design Engineers are responsible for designing various manufacturing equipment (stamping, hardware & software, die & mold) to ensure the efficiency and stability of new models and new technology introduction in all HDMA North American Manufacturing facilities. (Available in Ohio and Alabama)
Quality Engineering - Effectively interacts with Mfg. Depts, Support Depts, Suppliers and R&D to obtain consensus when finding root cause and suggesting countermeasures to gain a clear resolution to problems. In some areas, Quality Engineers will also perform car testing during new model trial stages to ensure the design intent is realized with actual vehicle performance. (Available in Ohio & Georgia)
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited program
Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or other equivalent engineering degree
3 months co-op/internship experience in a relevant environment (preferred)
Less than 2 years of engineering work experience
Knowledge and Skills
Highly effective communication skills (verbal & written)
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to balance workload and set priorities
Ability to present to varying audiences
Work in a team environment

Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for running established processes, driving optimization and cost-savings initiatives, leading technician teams and operator training. This role oversees maintenance and troubleshooting efforts to reduce downtime and improve line performance.
Job Duties:
Execute optimization and cost savings manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Oversee the running of established processes
Lead team of technicians who serve as line operator experts
Implement and lead operator training programs to improve process capability, standard work compliance and troubleshooting effectiveness.
Support production startup, changeovers, and process stabilization to ensure consistent product performance and throughput.
Monitor key manufacturing metrics (scrap, uptime, efficiency, quality).

Job Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
