Reflecting on my high school job at the local movie theater, where I earned minimum wage plus free popcorn and movies, I realize how much times have changed. Back then, making $5.86 per hour felt acceptable, but today, it’s hard to imagine surviving on such a low wage. This nostalgia led me to explore the current job landscape in New Hampshire and to uncover which professions are currently among the lowest paying.

Building on our previous research into the highest paying jobs in New Hampshire, we utilized the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to identify the lowest-paying positions in the state.

After analyzing the BLS data, we found that Legislators continue to be the lowest paid professionals in New Hampshire.

  10. Hosts and Hostesses, Restaurant, Lounge, and Coffee Shop

How We Determined the Lowest Paid Jobs in New Hampshire
