80 million workers, or two-thirds of the country’s workforce, will be impacted by the White House’s new vaccine mandates.
Under the new mandate, all employers with more than 100 workers will be required to either have them be vaccinated or have unvaccinated employees tested weekly for the virus.
According to Zippia’s data, Wyoming based-companies will be impacted.
Below you can see the affected companies, along with the number of workers they employ:
Wyoming Based Companies With Over 100 Employees
How We Determined This
Here at Zippia we have developed a database of over 250,000 companies that spans the entire country.
For this report, we looked at the companies headquartered in Wyoming with at least 100 employees. That left us with 36 companies with over 100 employees who will be liable under the new mandate.
This list does not include companies based in other states who may employ Wyoming employees, such as Walmart. Similarly, our data was unable to capture the companies receiving Medicaid and Medicare funds that will be held to the mandate despite the size.
How Long Do Workers Have To Comply?
While the clock is already ticking for federal employees, private sector workers have more time.
The Department of Labor is expected to issue its rule in coming weeks, after which employers and employees will have about 50-to-90 days to comply.
After this period, employers will be fined up to $14,000 for each violation of the mandate.
