Position Overview The Director of Materials Management is a senior leadership role responsible for the oversight and optimization of materials management across the Salt Lake City Manufacturing Facility of Albany Engineered Composites. The Project Engineer will be responsible for driving the development of a high-rate layup solution for a primary aerostructure in collaboration with European customers, government and academia agencies. The role will focus on leading the design, integration, and validation of advanced composite layup and custom tooling technologies to advance the manufacturing readiness level for the primary aerostructure. Upon the success of this project, this position is expected to support a 2-year technology transfer to Europe as an expat assignment. Key Duties/Responsibilities: Serve as the technical focal point for the primary aerostructure high-rate layup project, ensuring alignment between internal teams, European customers, supporting agencies, and equipment suppliers. Drive technology maturation by advancing composite structure solution between concept and design to prototype and pilot production, ensuring readiness for integration into development and low-rate production programs. Lead the evaluation of DFP vs. NCF layup solutions through material conformance and producibility trials. Works cooperatively with NDI Inspectors and the NDI Responsible Level 3 Engineer to optimize the process for quality, cost and throughput and addresses other functions that affect product performance and inspection proficiency. Applies theoretical knowledge and engineering techniques to the solution of NDI production problems. Job Purpose Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Proposals to lead all proposal activity for the business. This role can be located at our Salt Lake City, UT, Boerne, TX, or Rochester, NH locations and will report directly to the Sr. Director, Contracts & Proposals. This individual will be responsible for directly managing a Proposal Analyst initially, while indirectly managing the cross-functional pricing and proposal teams developed in conjunction with the functional business leaders. This position requires a candidate who brings to the table the expertise to oversee the Proposal Management function for AEC's diverse customer base across its Commercial, Defense, and Emerging Markets & Technology segments. It also requires strong Proposal Management experience from within a manufacturing environment, along with U.S. Defense industry experience and the ability to obtain a security clearance with the U.S. Government. Review proposal sections developed by members of proposal teams providing guidance and recommendations and editing sections as appropriate. Develop, schedule and oversee proposal status meetings and approval reviews with the proposal teams and leadership. Finalize RFI, ROM and Proposal documents for delivery with the proposal team, ensuring compliance to solicitation requirements and completeness of established win themes, messaging, and best value proposition. Develop and implement a plan and schedule for post-submittal fact-finding, required proposal updates and negotiation preparation. Ensure all post-submittal actions are completed by each respective functional area supporting the proposal. Capture relevant lessons learned and areas for improvement, continuously refining the Estimating System policies and procedures to reflect best practices.

The Level II NDT Technician inspects composite parts for defects using automated and manual methods in ultrasonic techniques. This position requires Level II NDT experience in ultrasonic non-destructive testing in accordance with NAS-410.
